    What I'm saying is I could see the muscle spasm release and feel the muscle relax as the needle went in, was an entirely physical reaction. Bit like attaching those muscle tone electrode gadgets, the muscle moved when spiked.

    Dry needling(as used in physiotherapy) is not the same as acupuncture, the needles go way deeper, down into the muscles. I've had it done and there's a visible effect as the needles go in, placebo my ass.
