  1. In 11 Premier League games in 2014, Liverpool have scored an average of 3.45 goals per game. Over a full season that would result in 131 goals.
  2. Yup
  3. More!
  4. We should, they're just not good enough
  5. This has 1 nil Chelsea written all over it
  6. Yup. Though if I remember right according to red or dead he didn't pick the team given it was too soon to know the players.
  7. Some random Opta stats.. 30% of Cardiff's goals have come from headers, the highest proportion of any team in the top division, while Liverpool (11) have scored the most in total. Liverpool have conceded the highest proportion of headed goals (23%), while Cardiff have also conceded the joint-most headed goals in the Premier League this season (10). Liverpool have scored more first half goals in the Premier League this season (48) than 16 of the other 19 teams in the league have in total this season. And my favourite.. Cardiff have won their last five home league games against Liverpool, but the last of these was in 1959.

Opta stats: Southampton have dropped more points from winning positions than any other team in the Premier League (15). Daniel Sturridge has scored in eight consecutive Premier League appearances. Only Ruud van Nistelrooy (10) has scored in more consecutive appearances in the history of the competition. Liverpool have scored the highest proportion of first half goals of any team in the Premier League this season (66%). Southampton have won four of their five Premier League games against Liverpool at St Mary's (L1), including the last three in a row. They are also the only team to have won at Anfield this season. Saints are one of only two teams in the Premier League to keep a clean sheet against Liverpool this season (the other being Arsenal at the Emirates).
