Can't fault Doms graft but his on the ball play has been woeful for months. Mac Allister is a fine player but hasn't looked on it this season, not sure he's fully fit. Jones is playing well but I think when he and Macca are in same midfield we lack legs/energy

he's carrying the midfield at the moment the others are either out to form, don't have the legs or both

how bad was the push by Nunez in the first half? from the Kop it looked like a penalty shout but it wasn't shown in nay of the highlights I've seen -
he grafted and was excellent defensively. if he had a brain, he'd be some player was convinced he was going to get himself a second yellow

as strong as we can with a bit of normal rotation, the quicker we can qualify the better and hopefully we can make more changes later in the group stage. -

you can't doubt his attitude and his willingness to graft

bar the first couple of months of last season, he's shown no consistent run of good form. his decision making and passing is abject if he hadn't scored a couple of screamers he would be under more scrutiny I don't rate him at all. If he was half as good as he thinks he is he'd be some player
