Sh'te again when he did not play yesterday

Not losing my marbles or anything but we always look a far better team with him in it, then we he is not.

I think he is the unsung hero, everyone talks about gerrard and alonso, rightly so, they are great players, brilliant players in fact.

Sissoko is the man, in my crazy, warped view of all things Liverpool.

Gerrard is developing into far more than a normal central midfielder, he offers so much more as an attacking player, whether it be wide or advanced of two midfielders.

When we are planning for next season we should be looking at alonso/sissoko in central midfield with gerrard either off a striker or wide.

I think Liverpool look a far better team when we have sissoko running 67 miles chasing opponents down, alonso dictating things and gerrard creating havoc further forward.

Obvioulsy this could be flexible, but for me the balance is right when sissoko plays. And I am going to shock a few here but if it where a matter of two of them for central midield and I could only pick two I would go for gerrard and sissoko.

Seriously

Mad you make think I am, but Liverpool as a team are far better with sissoko in, he is every bit as good and infuential as a young Viera, I love him.

I am not saying he is better than gerrard, of course he isnt, what I am saying is he is the type of central midfielder that makes great teams, gerrard is that good he can play anywhere

In my ideal world, we would go and buy a brilliant front man who can play up front on his own, a world class winger who can create and score and then play alonso/sissoko and gerrard floating in front of them

We would monster everyone we played. The only reason that system has not worked this season is we have not got the wingers yet or the world class striker up front.... Next season however..
