Guest Kev Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 He came from BarcaTo bring us joyHe's so frustratingAnd entertainingBut please don't take my Luis away
Guest PaulMcC Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Last night he was absolute s***. One of the worst performances i can remember. But he's still quality and his goals and flair are vital to us.
Chili Palmer Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 It was funny seeing him tower over that ref!
Nate. Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 I could have killed him last night, maybe his single most annnoying performace. Then his dive at the end was shocking.
Nerik Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 He did put in a great pass that nobody understood towards the end.
CaptainXabi Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 I bet he scores in the return leg.twice.
Kite Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Don't think he should be in midfield really but what's with him, he's been well off his game for some time now?
Rushian Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Don't think he should be in midfield really but what's with him, he's been well off his game for some time now? He's been carrying a knee injury for the best part of three months. But he was hardly the only one who had a nightmare last night - Kewell and Alonso were also well off the pace.
DanielS Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 He's been carrying a knee injury for the best part of three months. But he was hardly the only one who had a nightmare last night - Kewell and Alonso were also well off the pace. Alonso hasn't looked right for a while. He's still brilliant compared to most midfielders - just not compared to himself last year.
Buzz Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Felt sorry for Luis with that throw in!. Big gap behind there Left Back, Cisse seemed to drop his shoulder and make a move for it, Luis quickly threw it into the space only for Cisse to have stayed where he was!. Made our Luis look a right Knobber.
Tetti Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 he looked very dejected on the warm down after the game, barely shuffling along at the back of the group with Pepe for company ( another shuffler).
McBain Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 I thought he was dreadful last night. Even by his standards. Though just to show i'm not picking on him, I thought Kewell, who is one of my favourite players in the squad, was just as bad.
Guest Jack Bauer Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Think that was his worst performance from him, I think he did one half good thing and literally give the ball away for the rest of the game. Looks out of sorts, probably the lack of games he has had. For sure.
Leo No.8 Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 His best position for me is still playing just off the striker. I'd rather see him used more often in that position, instead of Morientes playing every single bloody game, or the woeful Cisse playing at all. He's nowhere near as good on either wing in my opinion,
