Slot is the dweeb who thought he had a shot with a 10 from work, told all his friends they were meant to be for a whole year and the only reason to live is to be with someone like her.

Then after two encounters of being in the same elevator where she each time smiled awkwardly twice before returning to her phone, he told everyone that it was only a matter of time before they got married. 

It was only when he overheard her in the canteen telling other coworkers that the German head of operations is the best she's ever had in the sack and she'll never forget him that, he starts to realise she might not even know his name and maybe he should look for a workplace that will appreciate his janitorial expertise.

It was clear in the aftermath of the Salah situation just how poor his man management skills are, that arrogance, but also someone who holds grudges.

Traits that don't work in top level management, let alone at our club. Can only think he was empowered by Hughes and co, probably with the aim to reduce player power. 

That interview with Seedorf directly after the CL game where Mo was dropped...

To be clear, Mo shouldn't have done what he did, but the ability to see the bigger picture and do what's best for the club is the bare minimum that should be expected from someone in Slots position.
