He's not a 6 or an 8, but he's an attacking midfielder, a 10, a wide forward/winger he is not. Dom is playing in a position which Slot himself has confirmed is the ''10'' role, on more than one occasion. Ergo why I'm saying he's Dom's improvement not Luchos.

It's clearly Diaz camp doing all the agitating here - you don't say things like that in a press conference otherwise.

I still don't think we want to sell him but got  no doubt we've got targets lined up if he forces the issue.

Hard to place him, as he's coming from a wingback system, but he's that Gordon Browny left-of centre sort of a fella for the most part, with Kerkez' energy and overlapping, you can see that Slot might want something different on the left where Diaz normally plays, esp as Diaz tends to come inside a lot.

The way the window works this summer means we get Wirtz and Kerkez sorted before next week, then get the rest lined up if we can. Really can't be arsed with Diaz dragging on all summer, which is what Barca will want to do.

Also, I think he knows it's in his own interest to do the forcing 'cos he's probably getting a very good 4-5yr contract at 28yo - which he probably won't at 30 if we let him see out the remaining two years.
