The Run In (Apr/May)

Flight · March 30, 2012

So what should we expet from the run in ? Interesting that Kenny said last week that we'd be playing more direct to achieve more results.

1 Apr Newcastle A 13:30

7 Apr Aston Villa H 15:00

10 Apr Blackburn A 20:00

14 Apr FA Cup Everton H 12:30

22 Apr West Brom H 16:00

28 Apr Norwich A 17:30

1 May Fulham H 19:45

5 May Chelsea H 12:45

13 May Swansea A 15:00

Rob made an interesting post in another thread :

Another few bad performances will begin to further vindicate those who have been critical throughout, but then again a few wins and things would also look very different. It's really tough to call right now. I'm still defaulting to believing in a 'project' I was very optimistic about 6-9 months ago.

I suspect we are going to see more of Suarez and Carroll starting and a more traditional direct 4 4 2. Also thinking we are going to see better results.
