Torres against Hull will be hard to beat. Three magnificent goals.

Torres

Fowler's against Arsenal in 94/95 was extraordinary because of the time frame. 4:33 mins.

Fowler hattrick

What others?

(sorry for the s*** videos by the way)

Nicol against Newcastle.

And Fowler's against Villa in 96 ( ? ) where he turned Staunton for one, and another i think was just lashed at from an acute angle and it went in.

Ian Rush against Villa.

My first thought on seeing the title. The absolute benchmark in terms of excellence - and it was crucial in getting a result as well, as the game could have gone either way but for that, iirc.

The angled volley was magnificent by any standards, but on an ice-rink of a pitch where it wasn't always easy to even stand up, the skill, balance and technique were incredible.

Thought he only scored 2 that day, McManaman getting the other.

Have fond memories of Emile at Derby.

Rush's 4 against Evertonington is my all-time fave though.

Crouch against Arsenal was arguably the classiest hatrick ive seen by a Liverpool player. All three goals were ace. Didnt he do the left foot, right foot, header combo too?

Most amazing, for not thinking it possible, Gary Gillespie v Birmingham in 1986. He got 2 and then the Kop chanted his name and he took a pen in a 5-0 win.

Did the King ever score a hat-trick for us?

I'm sure he did, but can't remember one off the top of my head

Im going to say that he got one against Man City, but haven't checked that.

Not a bad memory! 27/12/1982 Manchester City Home W 5-2 Dalglish 3 (18, 24, 86), Neal (22), Rush (64) 44664

We always used to stuff Man City back then

My first game. Penalty in front of us as well.

Was it Easter time? It was my first year of going to every game, I was a Kopite in those days, i am not sure if there are any clips but I vaguely remember him running from the half way line and doing a one two to get a goal?

Didn't Mark Walters get one against Coventry? Couple of belters in there if I remember!

Sorry, I'm rapidly turning this into 'Most obscure hat-trick' thread!

That was his second. Him and Rush were so far ahead of their defence either could have scored and just kept knocking it between them. Finally the keeper ran at Rush, he squared it and Gillespie slotted it. I may have embellished this in memory.

His first was from a corner. His pen was boss as well. Better than Molby's from the same game. I haven't embellished this.

It was the end of April. Whelan had scored a trick a couple of games ago in a 5-0 win.

Ronnie Rosenthal?

Against Charlton I think? That was a proper hat-trick too, left, right head and fairly crucial in the run that won us the league.

Surely Rushies 4 vs everton has to be best though?

Rush v Villa for me, for the reasons mentioned above. It was Van Basten-esque in its awesomeness.
