Its very commendable but we're always going to have a problem with campaigns against the Americans when there is seemingly no potential buyer.

The price is too high, Sheiks and other wealthy buyers figure it's cheaper to buy a club for 200m and spend 200m developing it than spend the 600m+ the Yanks want

That is a huge problem. We cant force them out unless theres someone else willing to come in and spend the money.

There might be, we dont know. Which is why we have to carry on regardless.

At worst, its educating more supporters which is great anyway.

Nobody is going to issue a statement that they want to buy.

The fact is that there were at least 5 intersted parties, a number of whom lodged bids for the club before we took the money from Gillet. There may have been others, i'd say that was likely.

If the club was for sale at a reasonable price i'd say there would be offers.

Yeah hopefully thats still the case. Im not againt any kind of action or protesting by the way. Just emphasing the need to have a buyer aswell as getting the c**** to sell.

i'd like to know the strategy intended for getting them out. hit them in their pockets? intimidate them molby like? boycott their business partners?

this needs a clear plan with the end in mind or we're not going to accomplish anything but making a few waves

the campaign against that cohen sort in the states showed how much can be achieved by putting pressure on major commercial sponsors, and that wouldn't directly affect the team on matchdays. i've no doubt that hicks and gillett are aware that fans will do their utmost to avoid disrupting team affairs, in fact they're probably counting on it.

Its a very, very tough situation. I fully agree with the SOS statement here, but it looks almost impossible for us to shift them.

The only way we can really hurt the owners is by hurting our own club. If we were to go down that route, we'd have to be sure there was a buyer ready to rescue us or we'd be in even bigger trouble than we are now.

Moores has so much to answer for. Isn't there any way we can stop him being 'life president'? Him being wined and dined by the club after selling us out makes me feel sick, I hate him with a passion.

I can't believe he has the gall to keep taking his seat every matchday.

that could be an interesting one. an official, organised-by-SOS fans' vote of no confidence in moores and non-recognition of his status as life president. perhaps a bit after the horse has bolted but would add fuel to the fire maybe.

I like that but would prefer it to have a carrot as well as a stick i.e. "do something to help and we might not hound you, you useless t***"

problem is that he's likely to offer no help as he's, amongst other things, a useless t***

All of us need to stop looking at the state of things now and start looking forward to what will happen. We and SoS missed a major chance to influence RBS and we need to get ahead of that for next year.

I suggest it is highly likely they will go further down the avenue of selling players to fund the debt next year. Feel free to fill in the blanks, but they just sold our player of the year and didn't reinvest the money.

They are interested in keeping hold of their asset (us) with the absolute minimum amount of investment. The only way they can do that is to liquidate some of that asset each time they renegotiate the finance or have to pay off some of the finance.

In my opinion, it may well be too late to stop them. It's way past the point of declaring a 'nuclear' option.

Above everything else, it is time to start taking action against what might happen before it is too late.

I think it'd be an excellent idea for a few days/weeks after an initial protest about G+H, get it back in the headlines.

Not sure what he can do in his Quisling-like position TBH, useless t*** aside.

i'm not entirely sure what he could do to help, short of issuing a public statement where he confesses that he made a mistake in selling to the two stooges and regrets his decision etc. though i'd be amazed if he could be effectively blackmailed into doing that under threat of being publically embarrassed by the fans' union because as you say, he's a useless t***.

Hasn't he already said something like that?

start a campaign to have kenny installed as life president. or even bill shankly in as honorary club president since moores has shamed the name of the club and what it stood for.

Is so so right Leo.

How long will it be before this abominable epitome of a silver spooned parasite is hounded out of the institution he has desecrated by his personal greed?

Alternatively, could he not become an agent a la the Tevez guy. Purchase two top players with the money he's acquired off our backs and bequeath them to LFC. Then I might be more tolerant of the loathsome moustachioed slug.

If that is their m.o. (and it looks like it is at the moment) any pressure the fans put on the club such as boycotting cup games, making the club shop inoperable on match days, not buying new kit etc.etc. will only force them into selling players to gain revenue even more quickly and drastically. They have us over a barrel.
