i agree - how sad is it seeing grown men in a shopping centre walking about in football tops? or worse still down the pub when a game isnt even on. very sad.

20 000 people don't buy a shirt, that's nearly three quarters of a million pounds lost

sends message to the owners that we won't be taken for a ride

doesn't significantly damage the club's finances

 

20 000 extra shirts are sold

sends a message that the owners our fans are ripe for picking

possible price increases, extra marketing crap, G&H realise there's real money to be made exploiting the fans (even more than they currently are)
