On the basis that Ronaldo wins most games for United how will Rafa set up to stop him? Is this for the wing back or stick Masher on him and tell him to kick the sh*t out of him. I remember a few years ago Ronaldo doing his tricks in front of Didi who just chopped him - excellent!

He's not running people to ribbons and creating a lot as say 18 months ago, he's basically making lots of runs into the box and getting on the end of service, just like a striker, in fact he's mainly playing as a striker so all this chat about scoring from the wing is misleading. No specific plan, just proper defending and cutting out service, just as I'd imagine they will seek to deal with Torres.

I wouldn't pick Sami, I think we need the most mobile pair, they'll often be marking no-one with this no centre forward thing Man U are trying to crack, so it will be mainly looking out for runners and players running with the ball from deep. Riise and Arbeloa at fullback.
