I sympathise with the intention butTesco is a business that RBS is disengageing from and there would probably be better targets. Perhaps Direct Line and Churchill which are both still owned by RBS although they are trying to flog these well. I'm a banker and believe that in the present circumstances RBS would like out as quickly as possible. The safety of their loans has detiorated significanly since the money was first lent. Alarm bells would have rung in head office once G&H fell out (a major cause of concern for any lender) and now the credit crunch and failure to raise funds for the stadium coupled with our narrowing margin of safety in qualifying for the champions league. I'd guess that RBS are doing all they can to get out but a little encouragment from SOS can do no harm and well done to you guys for trying. Dont mind the begrudgers.
