Made a few bad mistakes last night but they were down to judgement rather than ability, it looks hopeful that he will be decent for us. I like to see quality english/British players in the team.

 

P.S Carragher was back to top form last night, and i want to throttle Sissoko.

Takes a long time to settle and get confidence at centre half.Longer than any other position on the pitch so im cutting him some slack for a season or so

I think he's done pretty well on the few occasions I've seen him. Last night was a baptism of fire playing against some of the best players in the country, I dont think he let us down. He made one error that nearly lead to a goal but he wasnt the only one to misplace a pass.

He came out of defence in the first half to win a bouncing ball and didn't leaving us exposed.

He also should have done better with the first goal.

But as others have said more errors in judgement than ability. I have high hopes for him

The lad's made, what?, 4, 5 first team appearances? Carra took about four seasons before he really started to look like he deserved a permanent spot.

Played well but personally he seemed to be in the Jamie Carragher mould of booting it as hard as possible when he had time. That's probably a confidence thing though. Whereas with Carra he knows his extreme limitations on the ball
