I'm trying to be just as daft as the people who want Rafa rotated back to spain, Voronin, Kuyt, Pennant and Hyypia shot and Parry sacked.

Weird innit - two seasons back we couldn't get a win in the league til this time of year and the CL was just about carrying us through, now its reversed and half of the people on here are suicidal.

 

This is the best start we've had to a sason for the last 4 years or so and still everyone's moaning.

In a way I agree with you. Its the Premier League I want, but it'll be so tough to win it. I dont honestly know if we're good enough.

We don't look like champions. Yes we are only 6 points off the top but we look more likely to drop a few more points than go on a winning run. If we don't beat Arsenal then the likes of Newcastle and Portsmouth are poised to go above us. We are a whisker away from slipping to the middle of the table.

 

It'll take something different, some tactical change by the manager, some huge upturn in form. I can't see that happening soon enough.

Seriously though i think we will win on sunday as long as xabi plays and the midfield is as the derby except xabi instead of momo.

When the sun is shining, I'm happy and confident. We have a great squad, a fantastic manager, we have the best away record, we're unbeaten, with only 1 player - Keane - having scored against us in open play and we're only 6 points behind Arsenal, who have played two thirds of their games at home.

 

When it's grey outside, I worry about the fact that Derby aside, we've only scored 10 in 8 league games, have only won one at home, have only beaten 1 team currently in the top half of the table (Villa - currently 9th) - we lack a cutting edge, and we're still missing Agger.
