But when Gary Neville does something like this, you'd also think it were class?

Seeing as Gary Neville doesn't play for Liverpool, no. It wouldn't particularly bother me.

Boruc's showing his passion for the club, if it was Reina saying it about Everton i'd be pleased.

I'm sure people enjoyed Carra gesturing at the Blues on Saturday and when Gerrard was running up the line taunting them a few years back.

And Fowler down snorting the line. Or his 4 times salute to the Mancs.

I'd be ashamed if any of our players behaved like that

Boruc comes in for a lot of abuse at Rangers as he blesses himself during every game. Many Poles are quite religious from my experience (certainly more so than over here) so obviously he can't stand the club and what it stands for and he makes no bones about it.

Not David Weir's fault obviously but there is serious bad blood between Boruc and Rangers foootball club and it looks like he wants nothing to do with any of them.

You wouldn't think it's funny if one of our players said something like he doesn't like man United or Everton.

Not shaking hands after a game is a bit s*** tho.

I have a feeling one of our players done it tho. Can't remember who.

Vignal refused to shake Johan Cruyff's hand when he collected his UEFA Cup medal after what Cruyff had been saying about our football.

That's not who i'm thinking of.

Henchoz maybe? Did he refuse to shake someone's hand before?

That was back when Vignal was good. Before that ankle injury at Grimsby that affected his mind.

Hardly the same.

If he's going to bring religion into it I can't wait until the first Islamic player refuses to shake hands with both of the Old Firm out of principle and then see if they start bleating about that.

If it is that important to him then he should join a f*cking monsastery- until then man up, play the game and shake hands. The soppy c*nt.

I think you'll find it's not Boruc bringing religion into it. Or at least he's doing what he's always done and it's other people taking offence to it that is bothering him.

As for not shaking hands I don't see the big deal with it. Shake hands if you want. If you don't want to then don't.
