let me guess...

The ref was OK and got it right.

We should abide by the officials decisions and get on with it

Hibbert tripped Gerrard and denied him a goal

The better side won

Lets be honest they were mugged, a legitimate pen in the 92nd minute and they didn't get it. If that had been us we would be livid.

What a f***ing happy day, spit your blue bile you f***ers as it wont change the result !!!

As soon as the last minute penalty incident happened and the ref waved play on, I said 'I really hope that it WAS a penalty so they can moan about it'. And it was!!

To be honest, Everton can count themselves lucky that they even had the chance to get the ball into our box. The ref added on 3 mins of stoppage time, that incident occurred way after that. So the question is why did the ref not blow up after 3 mins?

Exactly; the more bitterness the better.

Some would prefer to beat them 5-0 with five beautifully crafted goals, each a contender for greatest goal ever. I'd rather beat them 1-0 with a goal that should never have been - offside, handball, not over the line and scored by an illegal 12th player.

It's just funnier. They're used to abject disappointment; vacant & empty looks on their faces means nothing to me. They support the wrong club, ffs, they always wander around looking sad & remorseful. But a bright red, angry, contorted, furious face - a face that gives away their inner thoughts of "we're far superior than you, you've mugged us once again, we'd have been the most successful club of the last 30 years if you didn't keep doing this to us" without a trace of irony - is a wonderful sight to behold.

Delusional loons.

I'm just fuming that the ref blew up for full time when we were 5 against 1. 3-1 and the final goal coming direct from the Lescott incident would have been orgasmic.

Everton's ability to miss the goal from spotkicks combined with Pepe's ability to save the odd one they do get on target means they could have had 5 f***ing penalties and we would still have won 2-1.

Both sides got what they wanted out of yesterdays game. We got 3 points and the win, they got loads of excuses.

he gave a yellow card to the Liverpool player after his unsportsmanlike tackle on the Everton player, a tackle according to the rules should result a direct red card

actually - the LAWS state ungentelmanly conduct is a caution. Serious foul play, violent conduct etc is a red.

So by that def, he got it right

"However, Moyes has revealed that he has no intention of even speaking to Clattenburg, and also questioned the referee's relationship with the Anfield club - comments which may land him in hot water with the Football Association.

"Rob Styles phoned Liverpool to apologise over a penalty against Chelsea, but if Clattenburg did the same, I wouldn't take the call," he said.

"You wonder whether they allow themselves to be influenced by the top four. Didn't Clattenburg go to Hong Kong with Liverpool for the Asia Cup this summer? Maybe he wants to be their friend."

The thought of that tw*t seething away all weekend is hilarious.

he probably thinks that they actually played well too. rather than the only way they were going to score being a penalty created by some long throw / hoof into our box or another sami hyypia howitzer.

The intro to that piece by the Sky editorial staff is hilarious though...

The 32-year-old official chose not to award Everton a penalty in the dying seconds after Joleon Lescott was tugged down by Jamie Carragher.

Clattenburg also chose not to send off Dirk Kuyt after the Dutchman lunged wildly at Phil Neville, and dubiously switched from a yellow to a red card when dealing with Tony Hibbert's foul on Steven Gerrard.
