Anyone going, or have experiences of sitting in with the Bitters for the Goodison derby in recent seasons?

Any hassle?

I've done it two of the last three years. The Carsley and Cisse games. Mercifully not last year. I was ok but I did make a real effort to keep quiet. Horrible, horrible set of fans though. Couldn't believe the hatred and vitriol.

I wanna go to the game but can't get a ticket in the away end.

I sat in the main stand on me tod last season. They were alright up there really but that was probably because they were winning and there were no goals for me to celebrate.

Make that f*** all to celebrate. I think I said "go ed Momo" once and that was it. When they scored I stood and clapped and when Fabio got t***ted in the face with the ball twice I laughed as much as any of them.

I got bit of s*** outside the Spellow after because my bluenose mates were ripping me and some scally eggheads got on to it but there was a few of us so they packed it in.

But if you don't act the prick you'll be sound.

I went to the Gary Mac one in the Gladys St

I didn't celebrate any of the goals apart from the last one, which i had to!!

Luckily that queued a mass exodus from the blues so i was jumping up and down on my own anyway.

The people around you will get on that your a red, if they seem alright then i'm sure they won't mind you celebrating in your seat if we score. If you jump up then you will obviously bring more attention to yourself.

If anyone says anything just point out that there are always plenty of blues in red sections of Anfield

I'm going to be in the main stand this year. I'll decide whether to celebrate a goal if and when we score :)

You out for a few bevvies after?

Flying back out at eight Saturday night so might have just enough time for one or two afterwards. Definitely on for a big session after the Fulham game in a couple of weeks though.

Why do it? Because I'd never get a ticket in the away end and I'd rather watch the game than not.

id rather watch it on telly mate

Some bloke rubbed my hair after they scored once.

My dad had to stop me from smacking him.

I've sat in the home end a number of times

It's one of those occasions when it is better if we lose, which backs up the question, why would you do it?

Sitting in their end when we win is a great experience, when we lose it's f***ing awful.

It's nasty and full of hate and kicks off.

It's worse if we win

I enjoyed it a lot more when we won 3-1 then won we lost 1-0.

I sat in their end for the Macca Derby, when he scored it was amazing. Only time i've done it in 10 years though, so could easily have been a one off.

Been in the away end loads of times. It's got progressively worse over the years. I was punched on the back of the head after Gerrard scored and wheeled away pulling tongues. I was with my little cousin, so chose to ignore it.

I was in the away end last season. That was hell on a stick....

Agreed. I used to get tkts off an Everton ST holder and have ended up sitting in every stand. I think its got worse over the years, although it MAY depend on where you sit. The top balcony was the least hassle and just got some verbal in Gwaldys and Park end, but sat in the Lower Bullens for the Gary Mac game, only about 10 seats from our (Away) section. Me and a few lads behind me "went up" when Heskey scored, but they got a smack off a few knobheads behind. One of the people that got hit was a woman aswell! Horrible c&nts! Must admit we were quiet from then on but couldn't hold back when Macca scored! They all f*cked off anyway, so we piled into the away end and laughed it up!!!

God I hope we batter 'em on Saturday!

Come on Redmen!!
