Looking forward to this a lot

Torres said he was always so jealous of the CL nights. When the music started playing. He's gonna be so up for this one

Would like to see Mascher and Babel back in the team as well

Rafa and all the players love the CL competition and i would say that yesterdays team selection had a lot to do with his thinking as regards this match.

I expect to see a team which Rafa thinks is his strongest with March back and Babel and Pennant running the wings.

According to Sky pundits, when the music starts playing all the squad run around and whoever is closest to the manager when it stops, plays.

I just hope that Quaresma is crap; that really would be one in the eye for old statto...

He could turn in the worst individual performance you've ever seen on the pitch and that clown would still come up with one stat that can be misinterpreted to show he's better than Pennant.

Oh dear are you comparing Pennant with Quaresma, now I`ve seen it all?

For the actual match, it looks like Porto will be without their best keeper, their best CB and they also have other doubts up front.

Fabio Aurelio will make a return to the Liverpool squad for tomorrow night's clash against Porto, but John Arne Riise has been ruled out with a groin injury.

Aurelio has been sidelined since April after rupturing his achilles tendon against PSV Eindhoven in last season's Champions League quarter final.

He made his comeback in a reserve friendly against Crewe in midweek and has been included in the travelling squad which will head to Portugal later this morning.

"Fabio is back which is good news for us," said manager Rafael Benitez. "He has worked hard to recover from his injury and could be a useful asset for us."

Benitez also revealed that John Arne Riise is still struggling with the groin injury he picked up on international duty last week and won't be involved in tomorrow night's game.

Momo Sissoko and Harry Kewell will also miss the trip.

your obsession with quaresma is slightly un nerving. Ive seen him quite a bit myself and while he has alot of talent he is a bit too small and honestly i dont think he is good enough mentally to play for the major teams. I think simao is a far better player in terms of goals and leadership.

There is a reason why quaresman doesnt play for a major european team in england italy or spain.

Rafael Benitez is set to make changes to his team for Liverpool's Champions League Group A opener in Porto on Tuesday night.

The Liverpool manager welcomes back the likes of Dirk Kuyt and Javier Mascherano to his squad for a game Benitez believes will be a tough test for his players.

"After an international break it's always a problem because you can't train properly with the players," commented Benitez. Mentally the players are ready but physically they are not so I will be changing some players for this game.

"If you analyse the Porto team they are a club that sells players every year but they still always have a lot of quality in their squad like Quaresma.

"They are a very good team and they have experience in Europe. They have pace in the team and it will be a difficult game but we have a lot of confidence in Europe. We are going to Portugal with the same idea we have for every game and that is to win the match.

"I think at least 12 points will be enough for us to qualify for the next stage. If we can win our home games then one victory away could be enough and hopefully we can do that against Porto."

I'm not comfortable about this game at all. Porto is gonna dive all over the place, moan and showing imaginary cards. I'm gonna be really worked up if the ref falls for their tacticks.
