I've got a feeling that it might be quite a nasty knock that Gerrard got. He had a long time to run it off but he was still quite badly struggling with it when he came off. It wouldn't surprise me if he is a big doubt for Sunday.

I can find a lot of factual errors in that article, so based on that I believe the Gerrard injury bit is also semi-fiction.

Gonna be interesting to see the optimism (or lack of it) from the pundits if he doesn't play!! If Gerrard doesn't play there's no way we can win. Losing Gerrard is like losing our entire team, I mean who's gonna be there to be our saviour this week?

 

IMO I'd go with Xabi and Mascherano holding and then give Pennant and Babel licence to get forward knowing they've got cover behind them.
