Stevie H Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 anyone heard anything about how serious / not serious it is?
Ethan Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 anyone heard anything about how serious / not serious it is? Rafa seemed to dismiss it in his post match interview - think he was brought off to save him for Sunday - the wee knock just made the decision quicker
Knox_Harrington Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 bob marley esqueLikely to lead to death and administered by a loudmouth iconclastic dj?
Eiler99 Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Drogba'esque would be my bet. Ready for sunday.
RafaShanks Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 (edited) Got a text before....badly bruised toe I didn't know he had your number? If Stevie doesn't make it, I wonder who Rafa will opt for? Edited August 15, 2007 by RafaShanks
Guest Kaizer Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Got a text before....badly bruised toe I think it can be a bit bad myself.
Guest Snorky Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 I didn't know he had your number? If Stevie doesn't make it, I wonder who Rafa will opt for? It's one of these premium rate numbers that give you first info of any Liverpool news.
dorgie Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 It's one of these premium rate numbers that give you first info of any Liverpool news. Like "that site that one is not allowed name" only cheaper and you actually get the truth ?
£440,000 Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Got a text before....badly bruised toe drop the phone on your foot?
R A Softlad Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 No he's trying that texting with his feet, sort of like those 'I painted this with my feet' style charidee Christmas cards.
Redwire Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 I've got a feeling that it might be quite a nasty knock that Gerrard got. He had a long time to run it off but he was still quite badly struggling with it when he came off. It wouldn't surprise me if he is a big doubt for Sunday.
Gary Gekkaloys Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 From the Guardian: Gerrard may miss Chelsea match after foot injury
growler Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 If he's out, I can see us with Alonso, sissoko and Masch in the middle.
San Diego Red Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 Rafa said nothing about Stevie, so I'm assuming he's alright. That said, he'll start against the Chavs and will score a hattrick
Koogan Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 From the Guardian: Gerrard may miss Chelsea match after foot injury I can find a lot of factual errors in that article, so based on that I believe the Gerrard injury bit is also semi-fiction.
Siang Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 It's Rafa's way of telling the world that he can bluff like Jose and Old Gin Soak too
Alonso Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 Gonna be interesting to see the optimism (or lack of it) from the pundits if he doesn't play!! If Gerrard doesn't play there's no way we can win. Losing Gerrard is like losing our entire team, I mean who's gonna be there to be our saviour this week? IMO I'd go with Xabi and Mascherano holding and then give Pennant and Babel licence to get forward knowing they've got cover behind them.
