Everton. :o

Moyes was at a book launch this week in the City and was overheard saying that Kewell had agreed to join them.

Were the lads from Jaguar there ?

I'm sure there was a rep from BHFJLAAJFWI (Baggage handlers for John Lennon airport and Jaguar factory workers international)

Might give some credence to the rumour going around last week that we were offering a player plus cash for Andy Johnson although the rumoured swap player was Bellamy.

That would put the Bent rumour into perspective, i'd rather have a one legged Forlan playing for us.

It was in the Mirror this morning. In the section where people write in and tell of rumours they've heard

So basically about as untrustworthy as it's possible to be. Almost up there with a quote from Parry

I was not aware of this. So it appears to be another wind up then, yes ?

Nobody of his quality on the horizon, even for 15-20m Euros, so why move him on. With a yr left on his deal it's hadly as if he'll be bringing in money enough to replace him.

Apparently the book signing was Gladiators: A behind the scenes look at the series. FFS is Moyes is queuing up for that, he needs to get his f***ing head checked.

I don't believe that Kewell would do that.

For one his wages would wipe out a good portion of their budget each season.

I fell asleep on the return key. That's what happens when you post and are on MSN to Murph at the same time.

Well said. Be mental to let Kewell leave.

Don't see the point in selling Kewell for peanuts.

If he can stay fit he's a £15m player, so as he's got himself into good shape lets see how he gets on, and if he still struggles with injuries release him at the end of next season. I could just see him being f*cking brilliant for someone else if we let him go now.

If he does the business offer a new (shortish term) contract, 2 years or something along those lines - he's made it clear he wants to stay if he can.
