No some on here wore them to Istanbul.

 

Well hopefully Adidas will be a bit better than Reebok in that respect so.

 

By the way am I right in thinking we've won all our European Cups in Umbro/Reebok?

Yeah I had one prior to the final last time. One of the embroidered ones. I'd imagine we'll get them again this year but they sell out stupidly quick.

EDIT: I don't think they'll be limited this year. Not with Gillett and Hicks around and another fleecing the fans opportunity. ;)

There had better be some more merchanising.

 

I already see on ebay adidas have CL Athens Scarves, no teams on them but if they are doing local promo stuff we should be in better shape.

i just got back from town & a trip to the club shop

 

they have replica shirts for the Final in

 

£55

 

the one in town got 350 this morning

 

i got one as i thought it would have been rude not to

the also have Athens t shirts & other stuff like mugs etc which have all come in today

got one of those Adidas tees coming on Tuesday, XL from Soccerscene, Amazon only have S.

 

Was at the club shop at Anfield this morning, one rack of Athens tee shirts and f*** all else, no sorry there were some teacups as well. We wanted a flag for our window and my missus wanted a tee shirt - we'd seen them both on .tv before we left. We asked the girl who was putting some trackies out onto a rack where all the Athens stuff was -

 

'it's in the back, we haven't put it out yet'.

 

f***ing shop was rammed, and they are too busy re-stocking the shelves with old gear to put out the new stuff that people want.

 

It's run like a f***ing corner shop much like the club as a whole.

 

Wonder if they're closing for two days again for the final while a million people are in the city looking to buy some souveniers?

the club should only have 17000 made, and make the sponsors and shareholders buy most of them, and then put the remaining half dozen in a ballot
