how many of you would you swap places with us?

On the verge of the premiership and decent chances for a double.

When will Liverpool be challenging for the league? Two more years like this and you can't call yourself England's most succesful club. What is it 17 yrs w/out a title?

The simple fact that we could potentially have lost more european cups than your shower have won makes it worthwhile.

Can I just add that sadly for you, as predicted by most of us you're not the first United to fan to come up with this particular line of deflection from an igniominious defeat.

As to your question - WE have money and backing now on a grander scale than before - and we won't be pissing away £18.6m on the likes of Carrick. Let's see what we do with it, eh?

Finally - you, me, the world and his dog know REALLY which trophy Slur wanted don't we? Why he stayed on uinstead of retiring - and it wasn't the league or FA Cup - was it?

I would never swap places with your lot - why have less trophies than we currently have?

you don't remember going 26 years without a title then?

f***nut.

But but but the premiership was only invented in 1992!

It was the league cup. Well it was a year or so ago anyway.

As Jon Hall told me earlier - if we win in Athens, we'd have more European Cups than all the clubs in England put together :o

If we win in Athens we'll have equalled United's entire European Cup history in 3 years (or 36 months depending on which you think sounds funnier).

so....

Nottingham Forest x 2 (same as Manchester United)

Manchester United x 2 (same as Nottingham Forest)

Aston Villa x 1 (1 away from equalling Manchester United's)

Let's see you win the next 2 years leagues to equal our record. Then we'll still have a shedload more European trophies of all descriptions than you. Your statement/question doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

Have a word with yourself.

Still the most league titles, still the most European Cups.

What do you hold, the FA Cup record? Con-f***ing-gratulations.

Then 1999, surpasses your entire intercontinental history.

When are you going to win the league again?

For all of you going on about how the CL is more important than the league title, maybe you should check your (illustrious I might add) history and what some of your most famous managers have said i.e. the league is your bread & butter -- everything else is window dressing.
