i'm considering heading into town early afternoon and getting started. want to be in the ground by 7 at the latest, and with a bit of luck i'll be out on thr major lash after the game (result permitting).

 

so are any of you strays out in the afternoon for a few, and if so where are we going??

I've just been having a look through the threads on the forum and can't see it noted anywhere so this seems like as good a place as any!...

 

mate of mine was telling me that there are plans to turn the town Red - everyone gathering down round by the statues in Derby Square (by the courts - opposite The First National boozer) and basically getting the flags, banners and songs on the go like we're at a European away - anyone heard anything similar?? sounds like a plan like and we were planning on getting there around 4 bells..

you haven't heard nothing John? you use a few other boards don't you?? if so, haven't you seen anything on those (i only use here like).. i was hoping someone like yourself was going to say "yeah its kicking off at 2pm, all the lads will be there etc etc etc"

 

i'm only going by what my mate said - don't know where he saw it.. i'll try and find out and post back here - it sounds like a plan though!

One of the lads in work mentioned it before - he and a bunch of his mates are joining several hundered others around the statue of Victoria outside the Law Courts.

Gonna have a few pints in town (probably weatherspoons as I went there for a pint before the Chelsea home game and we won 2-0) and I plan on been in the ground by 7pm. I want them Chelsea f*****s crapping in their boots during the warm up.

I finish work about 5:30 so will come for an hour or so. Will spread the word, but Gray goes on RAOTL so he will know about it already

reading a few of the posts on the first page or so of that thread and i've realised why i only come on this forum and steer clear of the others..

 

Jon - i thought that boozer on the corner of Derby Square was called the Queens? if not then i can't think what it's called but someone text'd me and said 'The Queens' too so there's more than one of us confused! I do know The Queens in Williamson Square mind, been there before and pass it everyday on my way into work.. just thought there was another one..
