How they gonna fill separate half an hour programmes with alan brazil/luther blisset/frank stapleton/andy gray highlights? One show should be more than enough, with a phone in for ten minutes too.

Newcastle were in division 2, so can't see how that counts for much. European Player of the Year in 77 and 79, I think. Maybe 80, but still not what you'd call his heydey.

Three mancs in there to two Reds, one blue and no sign of Clive Allen/Mariner/Woodcock or anyone like that. Must have won loads in the eighties them mancs did they?

What medals did he win in the eighties?

Let's not reduce it to that all the time. Shearer has almost no medals and remains a legend.

Having both Rush & Dalglish there will split the Liverpool vote and probably let one of the others through to win it.

If Gary Lineker had played for a big club, he might deserve it :-)

True, but they're soon to be knocked back a peg or two by the greatest club of them all

I'm saying it yeah because he played for us but where the hell is Graeme Sharp in that list?

During our dominance he was awesome and for most of the 80's he was.

I agree, Andy Gray?
