Who wants our rivals for third place

Any other team and I'm sure we'd all want an Arsenal defeat so the serious question is; do we want an Arsenal victory today or a Manchester United one? Sometimes my enemy's enemy is my friend and all that. Difficult call, isn't it?

Tis a toughie. But I think I'd rather United drop the points and keep the race a little more open. If they win today, the title will take some wrestling from them.

Arsenal for me. If we continue winning then by the time we play Man U at Anfield we might only be 8-9 points behind them! Reduce that to 5-6 points with about 10 games to go and anything can happen.

I'd rather finish 4th with Chelsea winning the league than 3rd with Man U winning the league, so an Arsenal win please.

An old-style Arsenal-Mancs game for me. Arsenal to win, two from each side sent off, a couple of injuries to key players and a big kick off after which the FA dock them both points.

Ideal scenario would be an Arsenal victory, with Ronaldo getting sent off for nutting the ref and getting a subsequent 20 game ban for it. Massive brawl at the end of the game (like never seen before) and both clubs getting docked 15 points and a sh1tload of fines.;)

Seriously the pressure is all on Arsenal , but I can see them beating the Mancs.

Can't believe people think we actually have a chance of winning the league, given the consistency we've shown this season. We're shyte away and an important reason we've the best home record in the league is cause we haven't played the top three.

We're too far behind and not playing well enough to catch them.

Arsenal win. There's not much difference between 3rd and 4th and I'd rather the slight possibility of the title remain.

Arsenal win by 36 goals to nil. In the ninetieth minute a mass brawl erupts. Batista hits Ronaldo so hard that the scream he emits permanently damages the foundations of the Emirates stadium and ruptures Rooney's eardrums. Arsenal sue United for the cost of the stadium and are awarded a billion pounds damages. In addition the court orders Old Trafford to be moved brick by brick to replace the damaged stadium. United to play out the remainder of their games at the Strangeway exercise yard. Both teams deducted 80 points a season, United in perpetuity. United players and backroom staff to renounce football and all worldly possessions and embark on retreat to Tibet. Ferguson refused entry to tbe temple and forced to become street beggar in Nepal.

It's nowt to do with having faith though, is it? Faith's not enough. You can have faith you're going to swim the Atlantic but it can't happen. You know how pleased we all are whenever United lose a single game. Well they'd have to lose 4. That's F.O.U.R games IF we won every single league match from now to the end of the season. Face facts, what's the point in having faith in that scenario?

Arsenal win. that would leave us 11 behind, and them still to come to Anfield. they also have to go the Bridge, Spurs, City and Everton. its a long shot, but if they hit a blip, and they could realistically lose their next 3 away games, we could be rigjht back in the hunt if we can keep winning our own games

It has to be an Arsenal win. There may only be a very small chance of United capitulating at this point but if they got injuries to Scholes and Ronaldo they would be much weaker. Plus they still have to play Chelsea and ourselves. If would be a psychological boost to us if the gap was suddenly reduced to 8 or 9 points. Also I can see us gaining in momentum over the next few weeks regardless of what happens with the other teams.

:lol: sendings off, injuries. Lovely people. A draw will do me today.

I know where you are coming from. I was a Chelsea fan yesterday.
