how far from the pier to the ground?

 

we 've got a proper outing planned:

 

12 of us in minibus from Liverpool - depart 11am

 

tour of pubs in the area, performing ever decreasing circles around the ground until we finally descend, like so many rampaging hordes attacking a village- best of all, the driver isn't going to the game so we can get dropped anywhere

Think its about 15 mins or so from the pier. Took about 25 on the way last time as we used the roads to walk along. Fatal mistake.

It'll be full anyway, 5000 tickets and some two bob trains twice an hour, not going to be empty is it?
