johngibo YPC Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 who is that Number 10? U18 drew 1-1 yesterday. The fabulously named Mattone Awang scored
Stevie H Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 think he's the s***-hot prospect we nabbed off saint etienne isn't he?
Alonso Posted October 3, 2006 Author Posted October 3, 2006 who is that Number 10?Some Morrocan 20 year old who we souted at the same time as Paletta at the World Youth Cup. He looks to be an attacking midfielder with strength, pace and skill from various You Tube videos. He was at St. Ettiene who released him or we paid £200k compensation for him to be released and was on trial with us. No-one seems sure if we've signed him or not cos nothing official has come from the club but his official site claims he's signed a 4 year deal.
Guest Cardie Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Strange for us to be playing so many of the first team squad.
Alonso Posted October 3, 2006 Author Posted October 3, 2006 Anyone going that'll be able to post a match report? Leo No 8 are you still going to reserev games? Your reports were well worth reading and better than what was on the official site! Strange for us to be playing so many of the first team squad. We haven't got a game til 14 Oct so Rafa is probably keeping them match sharp.
Guest Cardie Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 We haven't got a game til 14 Oct so Rafa is probably keeping them match sharp. Has he done it in previous international breaks?
12twelve Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 North African-player from France wearing no.10. El Zhar must be the new Zidane!

Thanks mate - unfortunately I can't make em these days unfortunately due to changes in my circumstances. Another lad on this forum used to good reports last season, was it Adam or something? Its a shame - the year I did the reports for KT our reserves were absolutely awful, there wasn't one of them to get really excited about. Now there are a few interesting young players around and I can't go. I'm interested in this El-Zhar business. Strangely, he's saying he's signed but the offal seem to be leaving him without a profile deliberately - its all very cloak and dagger!
Kahnee Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Has he done it in previous international breaks? Pennant aside, the others haven't had a game in a while.
CarraLegend Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 We've had similar teams to the one tonight playing before for the ressies but not often. As has been said most need a game and maybe Pennant needs a confidence boost?
el_berto Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 And where is Salif!!!!Rafa said he wouldn't even get a game for the reserves
cymrococh Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Is this because of the Fowler & Pennant thing the other night?
Liverpoolway Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Is Anderson injured? Anderson and Hammill are both with the England U19 squad.
Will Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Is this because of the Fowler & Pennant thing the other night? What Fowler and Pennant thing the other night?
