ynwa.tv Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Down Memory Lane Double Agents Meet the Referee
Falconhoof Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 As ever lads you've put together some cracking articles on the forthcoming game. By contrast, you look at the fans sites for other clubs and you just don't get the same sign of effort or interest in the history of the game. I was just looking for a Sheffield United take on things and the 1st forum I came across was filled with hundreds of posts about A - Level results. The 2nd had a long thread about songs like 'in your Liverpool slums' and this very basic article about the match >>>>>> Blades can't spell
Dan Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Warnock's at it already. He's had the pitch narrowed to the smallest possible width! Wouldn't surprise me if the grass was longer in the corners again.
Guest Jodus Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Warnock's at it already. He's had the pitch narrowed to the smallest possible width! Wouldn't surprise me if the grass was longer in the corners again. He'll need a lot more help than that. He needs to remember that in a smaller space, players with better close control and betetr timed runs will benefit - Alonso, Gerrard, Bellamy, Pennant? I think so...
Benitez Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 from the Echo: "Steve Finnan is a doubt for the Bramall Lane clash with a tight thigh. Jan Kromkamp is on standby."
Scally the Wag Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Just pleased that we're on the verge of the new season at last. Stuff the World Cup, the PL is what we live for...
Guest AnfieldGrass Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 "14.08.06 @ 12:45pm: Sheffield United v LiverpoolSheffield United will be an unknown quantity this season" ... if by unknown quanitity you mean s**** and straight back down, then yes. Warnock's at it already. He's had the pitch narrowed to the smallest possible width! Wouldn't surprise me if the grass was longer in the corners again. I hear he's giving a last minute petition to the FA to allow promoted clubs to be able to pick up the ball and run with it.
Benitez Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Reina Kromp - Carra - Agger - JAR Gerrard - Momo - Alonso - Aurelio Crouchy - Bells
MarkD Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 I think Agger will play - with Sami having played in midweek and the Euro game on Tuesday.I think Alonso will be on th bench, he has appeard to more of the pace than the others, so; Reina Finnan/KromkampCarraAggerRiise PennantGerrardSissokoGonzalez CrouchBellamy Subs;Kromkamp/PallettaAlonsoAurelioFowlerDudek
stressederic Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 We need to get off to a good start for the season. It's been 4 years since we last won on opening day in the league.
Shanklyanfield Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Anybody know what the squad is? On Sky they've announced that Kuyt is in the squad so does anybody know the squad that has travelled?
