Can't seem to sell enough shirts, so how to make them...

CHELSEA is banning fans who have not bought its new £44.99 shirt from appearing in the world's biggest-ever team photo.

Anyone who turns up in last season's kit will be told they cannot pose for the record-breaking attempt with Jose Mour-inho and his players.

One fan blasted: "What a great marketing ploy to sell the new shirts.

"I'm going with a family of four so I need to shell out almost £150 - I just can't afford it."

The club is today inviting thousands of fans to take part in the photo in front of its West Stand.

Mourinho says in a letter to supporters: "The squad will be wearing the new Adidas kit so we need you to do the same.

"If you do not wear your new kit you will be allocated seating in another part of the ground."
