    Red beginnings 1942 - The legendary Ian Callaghan was born in Toxteth. He signed professional terms in March 1960 and made a record 857 reds appearances, bagging 68 goals while helping us to five League titles, two FA Cups, one European Cup, two UEFA Cups, UEFA Super Cup and three FA Charity Shields, as well as winning the Football Writers’ Player of the Year award in 1973/74. 1992 – Senegalese forward Sadio Mané was born in Sédhiou. He signed from Southampton for an initial £30m in June 2016, netting 120 times in 269 outings before moving on to Bayern München for an initial €32m in June 2022. He had helped us to claim the Premier League title, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, FA Cup and League Cup. 1930 - Keeper Tommy Younger was born in Edinburgh. He arrived from Hibernian in June 1956 for £9,000 and made 127 reds appearances, as well as winning 24 caps for Scotland. He returned north of the border after three years at Anfield to join Falkirk, and later became the President of the Scottish FA. He died in January 1984. 1926 – Defender Bert Shears played the first of his sixteen reds games with outside-right Archie Rawlings appearing for the 67th and last time as we won 1-0 at Bury thanks to a late Harry Chambers goal. 1915 – Left-half John Shield was born in South Shields. He moved from Bishop Auckland in ecember 1935, but only played one senior game before returning to his former club in October 1936. 1908 – Forward Charlie Hewitt was born in Greatham. He signed from Tottenham Hotspur for £75 in May 1907, bagging six goals in sixteen outings before joining West Bromwich Albion for the same fee the following April. Digger honoured 1988 - John Barnes was named the PFA Player of the Year, with Steve McMahon and Peter Beardsley rounding out the top three, and Alan Hansen also nominated in the shortlist of six contenders. Another Euro semi 2018 – We won 2-1 at Manchester City in the second leg of our UEFA Champions League Quarter-final, to progress 5-1 on aggregate. Gabriel Jesus gave the home side a very early lead on the night, one of his six goals past us to date, before Leroy Sané had a goal incorrectly rules out for offside, a decision that led to City boss Pep Guardiola being sent to the stands for his protests. Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino both scored after the break to take us through to a Semi-final against Roma. 2022 – We drew a League 2-2 at the Etihad Stadium, with Kevin de Bruyne giving the home side an early lead thanks to a deflection, one of his four strikes against us, before Diogo Jota equalised. Gabriel Jesus restored City’s lead just before the break, but birthday boy Sadio Mané levelled the scores again straight after half time to leave City one point ahead in the title race with seven games remaining. Beating the Potters 2016 – We thumped Stoke City 4-1 at Anfield, with Albert Moreno and Daniel Sturridge netting either side of Bojan Krkić’s headed goal before the break. This was Moreno’s third and final reds strike. Divock Origi bagged a second-half brace. 1971 - Peter Thompson struck the only goal of our top-flight trip to City’s old Victoria Ground stadium, his 54th and last goal for the club. Another keeper walks 2012 – Maxi Rodríguez scored his last two reds goals as we raced into a two-goal lead at Blackburn Rovers. However, following Pepe Reina’s dismissal in the previous game, his stand-in Alexander Doni was then sent off, with Brad Jones coming on to save a Yakubu penalty with his first touch, although he then drew the home side level with a brace that included another spot kick. Andy Carroll headed in a stoppage-time winner. Before being replaced by Jones, right-back Jon Flanagan came up against his uncle, Bradley Orr, in this fixture! 1936 - We drew 2-2 at Ewood Park with Matt Busby grabbing the first of his three reds goals and Fred Howe also on the scoresheet. 1948 - Albert Stubbins and Jack Balmer struck as we won 2-1 at the same venue. Mixed European semi-final fortunes 1973 - Left-back Alec Lindsay grabbed the only goal of the game in our UEFA Cup clash with Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield with Brian Hall hitting the bar. We lost the second leg 2-1 but progressed to the Final on the away goals rule. 1985 – We thumped Greek champions Panathinaikos 4-0 at Anfield en route to our fifth European Cup Final in nine years. Ian Rush bagged a brace to add to goals from John Wark and Jim Beglin, his first senior strike. 1997 - Less happily, we were comprehensively beaten 3-0 in the first leg at Paris Saint-Germain in the European Cup Winners’ Cup with keeper David James playing his 200th reds game. Tonking City 1982 - Sammy Lee, Craig Johnston, Alan Kennedy and Ian Rush all netted as we thumped Manchester City 5-0 at Maine Road, with Phil Neal scoring from the spot. Mo again 2021 – Mohamed Salah scored in his third consecutive reds game as we came from behind to beat Aston Villa 2-1 at Anfield behind closed doors. Ollie Watkins gave the visitors the lead with one of his five goals past us to date, with Trent Alexander-Arnold bagging an injury time winner. 1976 – We shared a goalless draw at Aston Villa, with The Guardian stating that the reds “once more… employed their scorched earth policy for away matches”. Red endings 1897 – Preston North End held us to a goalless home draw as we ended the season in fifth place, with inside-forward Willie Michael playing his 23rd and last reds game and centre-half Robert Neill appearing for the 27th and final time. 1929 – We beat Huddersfield Town 3-1 at Leeds Road. Sam Wadsworth put through his own net with Gordon Hodgson bagging a brace as forward Bill Salisbury played his seventeenth and final reds game. 1925 – Danny Shone struck his 26th and final reds goal as we beat West Ham United 2-0 in L4, with Harry Chambers also on target. Debuting on both sides 1920 - Ephraim Longworth made his England debut as they beat Scotland 5-4 at Hillsborough in the British International Championships. Clubmate Tom Miller debuted for the away side, winning his only cap as a reds player and bagging a brace, his only international goals. Fellow red Ken Campbell played in goal for the Scots with ex-red Sam Hardy in the England goal for the 21st and final time. A tarnished halo 1998 - Michael Owen was sent off shortly after equalising at Old Trafford with his twentieth goal of the season in a 1-1 League draw with Manchester United. Ronny Johnsen had struck for the home side. Derby despair We have twice faced Everton on this day in history, without winning. 1903 - We were held to a goalless top-flight draw at Anfield with forward Sam Raybould reaching a century of League outings for the reds. 1944 – We lost 3-0 in a Wartime League match that also counted for the Liverpool Cup. Twice against the Rams We have faced Derby County twice in top-flight matches on this day in history. 1914 - We beat the Rams at Anfield with Billy Banks bagging the only goal of the game as half-back Harry Lowe reached a century of reds games. 1920 - We lost 3-0 at the Baseball Ground, with Noah Burton bagging a brace and Harry Leonard converting a penalty. Full-back William Jenkinson played the last of his thirteen senior reds games, with John Miller appearing for the eighth and final time. Beating Wolves We have twice beaten Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 in First Division fixtures on this day in history. 1937 - Berry Nieuwenhuys struck at Anfield as forward Vic Wright made his 85th and final appearance for the club. 1979 - Alan Hansen headed his first League goal at Molineux in a mud-bath. Both sides had good penalty shouts turned down in what was Bob Paisley’s 200th League game in charge. Four for Willie 1943 - Willie Fagan scored four goals as we thumped Chester 5-2 in a Wartime League match at their Moss Road Ground that also counted for the Lancashire Cup, with Jack Balmer also on target. Defensive farewells 1909 – Half-back Jimmy Hughes made the last of his fifteen senior appearances in our 2-1 home defeat by The Wednesday, with right-half Bobby Robinson on target. 1950 – Frank Christie played his fourth and final reds game as we lost 1-0 at home to Burnley in a First Division encounter. Lucas signs on 2013 – Brazilian midfielder Lucas Leiva signed a new contract. He notched just seven times in 346 senior outings since signing from Grêmio for a reported £5m in May 2007, moving on to S.S. Lazio for £5m in July 2017. Other reds games 2001 – We drew 1-1 at Ipswich Town with Emile Heskey on the scoresheet. 1993 – Ian Rush nabbed the only goal of Oldham Athletic’s trip to Anfield. 1954 – We lost 3-0 at Arsenal. Derek Tapscott struck the first two of his six goals against the reds with Don Roper netting the last of his five, 1939 – We shared a goalless draw at Birmingham City. The Saint steps down 1965 - Ian St. John won his 21st and final Scotland cap, netting in a 2-2 draw with England in the British International Championships at Wembley. Clubmate Peter Thompson was in the home side. On the move 2014 – Ex-loanee midfielder Nuri Şahin returned to Ballspielverein Borussia 09 e.V. Dortmund from Real Madrid for a reported €7m, after a successful loan spell. 2012 – It was announced that Mohamed Salah would sign for Basel from El Mokawloon El Arab the following June. Also in international action 1948 – Billy Liddell played for Scotland as they lost 2-0 to England in the British International Championships at Hampden Park. 1977 – Glenn Hysén featured for Sweden Under-18’s in their 2-0 European Championships qualifying defeat in East Germany. 2004 – Jordan Holmes captained England Under-16’s as they lost 3-2 to Italy in the Montaigu Tournament.

    Brian’s bow 1969 - University graduate Brian Hall made his reds bow in a goalless top-flight draw at Stoke City as a substitute for Roger Hunt. He went on to net 21 times in 224 reds appearances, was also the club’s Public Relations Manager from 1991 until retiring in 2012. 1960 - We also faced the Potters, with Billy Liddell striking a brace, including a penalty, as we beat them 3-0 in a Second Division fixture at Anfield. Bobby Murdoch netted the other. Debuting between the sticks 2012 – Brazilian custodian Alexander Doni played the first of his four reds games as Aston Villa held us to a 1-1 draw at Anfield. Chris Herd scored for the Villains after ten minutes, with Luis Suárez nabbing a late leveller after we had hit the woodwork four times. On the same day, Jerome Sinclair featured for England Under-16’s who lost a penalty shoot-out to Russia after their friendly ended 2-2. 1967 - Keeper John Ogston played his only reds game in our 3-1 home League win over Newcastle United, with Roger Hunt bagging a brace to add to a goal from Ian Callaghan. This game launched Emlyn Hughes’ nickname of Crazy Horse after he rugby tackled United forward Albert Bennett in only his fifth reds match. Heading towards Basel 2016 – We held Ballspielverein Borussia 09 e.V. Dortmund to a 1-1 draw in their Signal Iduna Park in the first leg of our UEFA Europa League Quarter-final. Divock Origi handed us a half-time lead, but Mats Hummels headed in soon after the break. Al off the mark 2007 - Our first ever game at Reading ended in a 2-1 win. Full-back Álvaro Arbeloa raced most of the length of the pitch to notch his first reds goal as we reached 200 League points under Rafael Benítez. Dirk Kuyt headed a late winner after Brynjar Gunnarsson had drawn the home side level. Bashing the Hammers 1984 - We trounced West Ham United 6-0 at Anfield. Ian Rush and Graeme Souness both netted twice, with Kenny Dalglish bagging his 150th reds goal and Ronnie Whelan also on target as we went 4-0 up inside half an hour. Cottaged by Elton’s cousin 1956 - Roy Dwight scored a hat-trick for Fulham in their 3-1 Second Division win over us at Craven Cottage, the first of his four goals past us. Roy’s cousin Reg later went on to great fame and fortune, under the name of Elton John. Billy Liddell netted our consolation, while winger Joe Dickson played his sixth and final reds game and keeper Dave Underwood appeared for the fiftieth and last time. On a roll 1979 - We secured the third of five straight League wins, all without conceding, as we beat Arsenal 3-0 at Anfield. Jimmy Case, Kenny Dalglish and Terry McDermott all struck in the second half to wipe out the bad memories of losing an FA Cup Semi-final replay to Manchester United three days earlier. This was Phil Thompson’s first game as reds skipper. 1951 - We also beat the Gunners in a top-flight meeting, with Albert Stubbins and Jimmy Payne scoring in a 2-1 win at Highbury, with Cliff Holton nabbing the first of his four goals against the reds as Payne reached a century of League outings for the reds. Derby disappointment 2018 – We were held to a goalless draw by Everton in a drab Goodison encounter. 1917 - We were beaten 4-0 at Goodison Park in a Wartime League match. International debutants 1900 - Alex Raisbeck won the first of his eight Scotland caps as they thumped England 4-1 at Celtic Park in the British International Championships. 1965 - Tommy Smith made his debut for England Under-23’s in their goalless encounter with Czechoslovakia at Elland Road. 1906 - Billy Dunlop won his only Scottish cap as they won 2-1 in the same fixture at Hampden Park. Clubmate Raisbeck was his skipper that day, while ex-reds inside-right George Livingstone also debuted in this game, winning his only cap as a Manchester City player. Red endings 1947 - Wing-half Tom Bush played his 69th and final reds game, over thirteen years after his debut. We beat Preston North End 3-0 as we closed in on our fifth League title, with Albert Stubbins grabbing two and Jack Balmer also on target. Bush later joined the reds’ coaching staff. Keeper Ray Minshull saved a penalty taken by the visitors’ Bill Shankly. 1955 – Winger Harold Uren died. He joined the reds as an amateur in April 1906, turning out 45 times and notching twice before joining Everton in February 1912 for £300 with forward Billy Lacey and centre-forward Tommy Gracie heading in the opposite direction. A win at Old Trafford 1982 - A goal from Craig Johnston was enough to beat Manchester United. Bruce Grobbelaar saved an early Frank Stapleton penalty, being helped by seeing a picture of him converting a previous spot-kick in the programme before the match! Win, lose and draw against the Blues We have played Birmingham City three times in the top-flight on this day over the years, with varying degrees of success. 1939 - Berry Nieuwenhuys and Jack Balmer scored a brace apiece as we thumped City 4-0 at Anfield. 1923 – We were held to a goalless draw, also at home. 1973 - A Tommy Smith goal was not enough as we went down 2-1 at St. Andrews, with Emlyn Hughes sent off in the final minute, although he later successfully appealed the dismissal. Future Blues forward Bob Latchford netted one of his five goals against us, with Bob Hatton bagging the first of his four past us while left-back Alec Lindsay reached a century of League games for the reds. Mixed fortunes against the Clarets We have faced Burnley three times on this day in history, winning only once and losing twice. 1900 - We lost 1-0 at Anfield, with ex-reds forward Abe Hartley on target. Sam Raybould had a penalty saved for the reds. 1950 - We won another First Division meeting 2-0 at Turf Moor thanks to goals from Jimmy Payne and Billy Liddell. 1919 - Our Wartime League match ended in a 5-3 away defeat, with Rob Matthews netting twice and Harold Wadsworth also on target. Also recently 2013 – West Ham United held us to a goalless League draw at Anfield, with a Daniel Sturridge strike wrongly ruled out for offside. Oussama Assaidi played his twelfth and last reds game. Up against the Terriers 1928 - We won a top-flight match 4-2 at Huddersfield Town, with Jimmy Walsh bagging his 27th and final reds goal. Tommy Reid, Gordon Hodgson and Dick Edmed grabbing our other goals, with Alex Jackson nabbing the first two of his four goals against us. 1962 - We were held to a 1-1 draw in our other meeting on this day in history on our way to the Second Division title. Roger Hunt netted for the reds at Anfield that day. Beating City We have twice defeated Manchester City on this day in history. 1954 - Brian Jackson struck twice as we won a top-flight encounter 2-0 at Maine Road. 1945 - Don Welsh bagged a brace with Billy Liddell also on the scoresheet as we won a Wartime League match at Anfield 3-0 that also counted for the Wartime League Cup. Milestone goals 1958 - Forward Bobby Murdoch bagged his seventh and final reds goal as we beat Stoke City 3-0 at Anfield in a Second Division encounter. He only played five more times before joining Barrow in September 1959. Billy Liddell scored the other goals, one of them from the spot. 1934 – We drew 2-2 at West Bromwich Albion. We fell two goals behind at the break to a Jock Carter strike and then the first of Teddy Sandford’s five goals against the reds. Vic Wright scored his first goal with Gordon Hodgson also netting in the second half. Management moves 2009 – Assistant Secretary Ian Silvester was appointed Club Secretary, following the death of Bryce Morrison the previous month. On the same day, ex-reserves midfielder David Mannix was charged with breaching the FA’s betting rules while playing for Chester City. He was later banned for ten months and fined £4,000. 2017 – Ex-reds boss Brendan Rodgers signed a new four-year contract with Celtic, having already led them to the League Cup and title since taking charge in May 2016. He left for Leicester City in February 2019. Harry on the move 2013 – Left-winger Harry Kewell signed for Al-Gharafa, in the Qatar Stars League. He struck once in three games before returning to Australia to sign for Melbourne Heart. In trouble 2015 - Ex-reds left-back Andrea Dossena was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting from Harrods, although no further action was taken. Also in international action 1894 – Future red Edgar Chadwick featured as England drew 2-2 with Scotland in the British International Championships at Celtic Park. 1976 – Future red Kenny Dalglish played for Scotland in their 1-0 friendly defeat of Switzerland at Hampden Park. 1987 – Future red Stig Inge Bjørnebye played for Norway Under-19’s as they lost a tournament game 5-1 to Hungary in Poland. 2004 – Jordan Holmes played for England Under-16’s as they lost 1-0 to the Ivory Coast in the Montaigu Tournament. 2007 – Future red Nikola Sarić played for Denmark Under-16’s as they beat Castelo Branco Under-18’s in Portugal.

    Michael’s European record 2002 - Michael Owen scored his fifteenth away goal in Europe, which remains a club record, as we beat Vitesse Arnhem 1-0 at their Gelredome in the Third Round of the UEFA Cup. Surprisingly, this was our first game in the Netherlands on a club ground, and our first win in the country. Beating the Gunners 2004 - Neil Mellor grabbed a dramatic last-gasp winner as we beat Arsenal 2-1, his first League strike. Xabi Alonso had opened the scoring with his first Anfield goal before Patrick Vieira rounded off a slick Arsenal move to equalise. Antonio Núñez came on as a substitute for Florent Sinama-Pongolle to make his reds debut. Porto downed 2007 - We thumped Porto 4-1 at Anfield in a Champions League group game to keep us on track to qualify for the knock-out phase. Steve Finnan played his 200th reds game, and fiftieth in Europe for the club, as Fernando Torres struck his first two European goals for the reds before the scoreline was boosted by a late penalty converted by Steven Gerrard and a Peter Crouch header. This was our 150th game in the European Cup, including qualifiers. Future red Raul Meireles came off the bench for the visitors, with Lisandro López bagging the first of his two goals against the reds. Red farewells 2015 – Legendary defender Gerry Byrne died. He was the hero of our first FA Cup triumph in 1965 when he played for 117 minutes of the final against Leeds United at Wembley with a broken collar bone sustained in an early challenge by Bobby Collins. He also won two League titles and the FA Charity Shield in his eleven years at Anfield, making a total of 333 reds appearances and scoring four times. On the same day, Dean Saunders was sacked as Manager of Chesterfield after just six months in charge. Most recently 2020 – We were held to a 1-1 draw behind closed doors at Brighton & Hove Albion. Diogo Jota netted with the reds having two goals ruled out by VAR for offside. Neal Maupay missed a first-half penalty for the home side, but Pascal Groß converted a controversially awarded stoppage-time spot kick. Ferri cross the Mersey 1998 - Jean-Michel Ferri signed from Istanbulspor for £1.5m, becoming Gérard Houllier’s first signing. He only ever made two substitute appearances before leaving for Sochaux-Montbéliard for the same fee, having been rumoured to be Le Boss’s mole in the dressing room. 1927 - Bill Murray signed from Clydebank, netting once in four reds outings before moving to Barrow in January 1930, where he became their skipper. 1945 – South African winger Bob Priday signed from Cape Town City. His chances were limited to forty reds games, as he was behind Billy Liddell in the pecking order. He notched seven times while at Anfield, before moving on to Blackburn Rovers in March 1949. A rare number two 1992 - Mike Marsh netted his first League goal past Nigel Martyn as we beat Crystal Palace 5-0 at Anfield. He remained the most recent player to score for us in the number two shirt in a first-class match until Álvaro Arbeloa’s solo effort at Reading in April 2007. Steve McManaman bagged a brace, while Ronnie Rosenthal and Don Hutchison were also on target that day. We only had one Song 2000 - Rigobert Song was sold to West Ham United for £2.5m. He had made 38 appearances in nearly two years at Anfield since signing from Italian club Salernitana for £2.6m, without getting on the scoresheet. Shanks victorious 1959 – Bill Shankly’s Huddersfield Town beat the manager-less reds 1-0 at Leeds Road. We fell behind to a Les Massie goal while skipper and centre-back Dick White was off the field injured, one of his four strikes past us. Happy birthdays 1978 - Ex-reserves striker Jon Newby was born in Warrington. He only made four substitute appearances while at Anfield, as well as staying on the bench on a further five occasions, moving on to Bury for free in March 2001. On the same day, future reds coach Joe Corrigan played for England B as they beat Czechoslovakia 1-0 in Prague. 1994 – Swedish winger Kristoffer Peterson was born in Gothenburg. He arrived from Sävedalens IF in January 2011, signing a contract extension three years later. However, he left for Utrecht in August 2014. In charge 1994 - Steve McMahon was appointed Swindon Town Manager. He was in charge for 201 games as the Robins were first relegated from the First Division, and then bounced straight back as champions. He was sacked in September 1998. 2007 - Ex-reds reserves forward Paul Jewell took over as boss of Derby County, who were firmly rooted to the bottom of the Premiership. He resigned in December 2008 having failed to save them from relegation. 2013 – Recent Assistant Manager Sean O’Driscoll was sacked as Bristol City boss, having been in charge for just ten months. 2022 – Former Academy coach Michael Beale was appointed Manager of Rangers. He was sacked after eleven months in charge. Cally for England 1962 - Ian Callaghan won the first of his three England Under-23’s caps in their 5-0 friendly thumping of Greece at St. Andrews. Shot down at Arsenal 1931 - Jack Lambert scored a second-half hat-trick for Arsenal as they trounced us 6-0, three of his seven goals past us, with John Charlton playing his third and final reds game. David Jack struck the last two of his nine goals against the reds, with Joe Hulme scoring one of his ten past us. The Gunners were pipped to the League title by our blue neighbours that season. 1970 - We lost another top-flight meeting at Highbury, going down 2-0. John Radford netted one of his seven goals against the reds, with George Graham coming off the bench to bag one of his four past us. Earning our Spurs We have faced Tottenham Hotspur three times in top flight matches on this day in history, resulting in one win, a draw and two defeats. 2010 – We lost 2-1 in north London, despite Jermain Defoe missing a penalty. Martin Škrtel opened the scoring before putting through his own net in the second half. Jamie Carragher dislocated his shoulder late on before Aaron Lennon bagged an injury-time winner. 2012 – We lost by the same score there, with Aaron Lennon and Gareth Bale both scoring early on. A Steven Gerrard header was cleared off the line by Lennon but rebounded off Bale for an own goal after the break. 1987 - We won 2-0 at White Hart Lane thanks to goals from Steve McMahon and Craig Johnston, in what was Kenny Dalglish’s hundredth League game in charge as Paul Walsh appeared for the 112nd and last time. Steve Hodge was sent off for elbowing Ray Houghton inside the first twenty minutes, while Gary Gillespie broke Spurs’ Neil Ruddock’s leg in a challenge. The home side were being managed for the first time by Terry Venables. Amazingly, this was our first victory on this day in history at the fourteenth attempt. 1964 - Roger Hunt struck in a 1-1 draw at Anfield, with Jimmy Greaves netting one of his twelve goals against the reds. Unfortunately, we lost the Anfield return by the same score. 1981 – We went down 1-0 at Southampton to a late Steve Moran goal. The home side included three former England captains – Alan Ball, Mick Channon and ex-red Kevin Keegan. 1953 – We lost 3-1 at Cardiff City despite Louis Bimpson opening the scoring. Wilf Grant and Ken Chisholm each netted one of their four goals against the reds, with George Edwards also on target. 1925 – We lost 1-0 at home to Bury, the only time the Shakers have won at Anfield in 26 attempts to date. 1908 – Manchester City won 3-1 in L4 with Sam Bowyer bagging our goal. Keeper Sam Hardy had to go off at half time due to injury, with left-back Billy Dunlop taking over the gloves. George Dorsett struck the last of his five goals past us, with Jimmy Conlin and Billy Jones also on target. 1896 – We were beaten 2-0 at Nottingham Forest’s old Town Ground stadium. Into third 2005 – Steven Gerrard was voted third in the annual Ballon d’Or award for the best player in Europe, behind Barcelona’s Ronaldinho and Frank Lampard from Chelsea. Sharing the shield 2003 - Young red Jordan Holmes skippered England Under-16’s as they drew 1-1 with their Scottish counterparts at Hampden Park. This result ensured that the two countries shared the Victory Shield, ahead of Northern Ireland and Wales. On the same day, future red Javier Mascherano appeared for Argentina Under-20’s in the World Championship Finals as they beat Spain 2-1 in a group game in the United Arab Emirates.
