    Farewell Jocky 1991 - Alan Hansen retired through injury. He had signed from Partick Thistle for £100,000 in May 1977 and made 620 reds appearances, notching fourteen times and helping us to claim three European Cups, eight League titles, two FA Cups, three League Cups and four FA Charity Shields.     Brian’s bow 1969 - University graduate Brian Hall made his reds bow in a goalless top-flight draw at Stoke City as a substitute for Roger Hunt.
