  1. Completely agree Anyone could have written that rubbish after reading the mirror or some rubbish over the last week.
  2. Excellent!!!!
  3. Think someone should organise a boycott of this error ridden book, ,or maybe we would arrange a mosaic? anyone got SOS's number?
  4. He has to be careful though, he could end up like and ruin his career like Steve Morrow at Arsenal
  5. Meanwhile, Liverpool have no interest whatsoever in re- signing Michael Owen. Owen is believed to be available for £2m in January and reports yesterday suggested Benitez could be ready to offer him a route back to Anfield. But the ECHO understands the Reds boss is not even considering making such a move for Owen, who left Anfield shortly after Benitez's arrival in the summer of 2004. I think this is definitely the case, remember Rafa puts alot of emphasis on a players motivation for signing for the club and he has seen that Michael Owen looks after Michael Owen 1st and England 2nd. He quite clearly has lost his affection with Liverpool and doesn't have the hunger or desire that Rafa needs in his players in order to play the game he wants them to. Of course this story will go on, and on till Owen retires, but I just can't see it happening. The other story is the more worrying one for me, Heskey coming back is exactly the signing I could see from Rafa: A hard worker etc etc, it gives me the shivers though... I personally don't want either of them back as I don't think we ned to go down memory lane with anyone who has left the club.
  6. In case we have no money at all for Jan, which I think we won't - I think we could live with the players we have, Arby can cover left back along with Auerilo Carra covers right back We have Keane, Kuyt, Babel, Torres, Ngog for upfront. We are covered on the right side by Kuyt and Gerrard
  7. Agree with that Rafa has to take some of the blame by not starting Alonso and then subbing the wrong people. Babel should have come on for Keane and went upfront Riera didn't deserve to go off and was showing a couple of moments that suggested he could open them up
  8. Was actually thinking about this, this morning Just out of our first 11 we have 7 "captains" --------------------------------Carra (Vice Captain) Kuyt (Captain at old club) -Alonso (Captain at old club) - Masch (Captain of Argentina) ----------------------------------------------Gerrard (Captain) -----------Torres (Captain at old club)--Keane - (Captain of Ireland) Its very impressive, isn't it.

  10. Loved that too - its great to see and a sign of a real team. Love the way Riera was ready to jump in too.
  11. You are lucky - I have to listen to the muppets on RTE. Dreadful doesn't describe how bad they are - Ronnie Whelan continues to go down in my estimation.
  12. Im just pretending that United don't have 2 games in hand........ we are 9 points ahead of United
  13. early doors it maybe, but 7 games in and we are 4 points ahead of Arsenal, and 7 ahead of United and level with Chelsea at the top.

    Agger?

Worrying yes, but an injury to any of our CB's and it could change anything. If Carra is going to play less games next year, then Agger and Skrtel will eventually be first choice. Agger just needs to bide his time, get the games in the FA Cup and League Cup, some Champions League games when we have qualified already etc. Whatever happens, there is no way we should lose a player of Agger's quality.
  15. If resting all the big name players, why is Gerrard on the bench? Why not give him the evening off?
  16. Yossi must be like Dalglish in training.....

Its at Anfield We have to play to win it! Feck this draw lark.
  18. I don't think I want to read his comments to be honest, I prefer the view I have of him now. I started reading and the comments he makes at the start has turned me right off.

    SoS

I didn't even bother voting, because as a Liverpool supporter for over 30 years, but because I wasn't born there and might actually take a ticket away from a fan who is actually from there - Im not represented by this group.
  21. This is just embarassing and its like we have turned into Newcastle. They both should be ashamed as releasing statements like this.
  22. Surprised are you - well Im not . Carra and Sami are on the pitch - and they are dreadful for doing it. We need defenders who can actually play the ball out from the back I.E. Skrtel and Agger
  23. Positives for me: Reina, solid as usual Agger, great to see him bringing the ball right into midfield - we have missed that. ....the game was only 90mins long
  24. but I'm not convinced that Rafa Benitez is, by nature, a man who likes to play 4-4-2. So I'm not surprised he went there
  25. The full-backs won't compensate. Alvaro Arbeloa is a tidy defender but he's no raider in the style of Bacary Sagna, Jose Bosingwa or even Wes Brown; Philippe Degen, as you might expect from a freebie, is not up to their class either, though he would offer more going forward than Arbeloa does, albeit at the cost of slack defending. On the left, Dossena is an improvement on Jon-Arne Riise but, again, inferior to Patrice Evra, Gaël Clichy and Ashley Cole. Seriously, that paragraph in particular is pure made up rubbish
