McGeady is consistently inconsistent. He shows flashes now and again but is nowhere near the level of player - (a) He thinks he is (b) People thought he would be after his promise shown as a lad. Any Celts i know are split on this,the anti Strachan brigade, and there are some even after the recent success, think Strachan hates him and is trying to force him out of the club and some believe Mc Geady is acting like the typical bellend modern footballer.

I pay very little notice of what any of them say. Too many are in the pockets of managers and players and have an agenda. That programme on Sunday morning "Sunday Supplement" is ridiculous where they all sit round a table with croissants like wise old sages. How are they in any better position to comment about issues than any ordinary fan with half a braincell?

I just turned it over and saw him stamping on the Aalborg player, i was waiting for the usual uncomfortable silence from the Sky commentators when it was shown in slow motion. Tyler said "he was just sorting his feet out" and i think Dublin said, and i am paraphrasing, "the Aalborg player will be able to tell his grandkids Wayne Rooney stamped on him". It sickens my hole.

His crossing is his biggest asset, in any event he should be given time to settle in. I would be inclined to give him time as he is coming from a different country, language, culture etc. He is Italys first choice left back and i believe Capello was very surprised he didnt make the Italian squad for Euro 2008. Momo was great as a spoiler and breaking up the play but he could not pass the ball......

Momo's main problem is his second touch was usually a tackle.

I find those three are particularly prone to it, Terry and Ferdinand moreso. It seems there isnt an issue Ferdinand does not have an opinion on.

Now would be a good time for Rooney, Terry or Ferdinand to "roar" that England are ready to "end 40 years of hurt" and bring the World Cup back home in 2 years...........
