Before Cech's injury he was better. Thats no longer the case , not only is he not better than Reina now he's a sizeable downgrade. I cannot think of a single thing Cech does better than Reina. No I would not swap Reina for cech for the same reason I would not swap Mascherano for Makelele.

Certainly Fulham. The whole place is in need of a lift , he comes on and wins us the game in a 5 minute window. The turn of explosive pace then having the prescence of mind to put it through the defenders legs. Fantastic goal.

LondonRed , you're a knob. I dont think we'd have been too badly off. He'd have eventually persuaded Owen to stay , he got the best out of Kewell and perhaps given a few weeks to stew over it (end of season break) he'd have changed his approach slightly. Not comparing their pedigree but SAF was not sacked after bringing in the likes of Bellion , Djemba-Djemba and Smith in the same (I think) transfer window. That would be boss. This club exist to win trophies so a season where we win nothing is not acceptable under any context. However we've all seen reason enough to be optimistic for next season and we had a prolonged European run which is always a bonus. Had we visted the new Wembley I'd have said it was a good season as it is , this season has been satisfactory. If it were to happen again next , it would not be.

If we lost a semi final to Everton 5-1 this place would go into meltdown.
