Carragher Bellamy Arbeloa

Can't believe anyone who watched Cisse in the league last season could be seriously wanting him to return. What f*****g planet do you have to be on? As for this close to 20 goals b******s, how many of the goals were in the league? As for Kuyt, I think he's been brilliant, and I think he would get in the box more if our approach play was better. He only drops deep because he feels he has to at times.

Looks like someone has made a cheeky wikipedia entry. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Everton

He has definitely improved but still has a long way to go before you can say he has what it takes to play for a side that wants to be challenging for top honours. On the plus side he has some trickery on the ball and can often deliver a decent cross, given the space to do it. On the down side he is lightweight and shirks out of challenges. If he is marked closely he finds it difficult to lose his man as he hasn't much pace so sometimes gets marked out of games, failing to make any real impression. I think he is doing ok but will probably be replaced once rafa finds himself a better player.

It has to be an Arsenal win. There may only be a very small chance of United capitulating at this point but if they got injuries to Scholes and Ronaldo they would be much weaker. Plus they still have to play Chelsea and ourselves. If would be a psychological boost to us if the gap was suddenly reduced to 8 or 9 points. Also I can see us gaining in momentum over the next few weeks regardless of what happens with the other teams.

Is there no way the families can sue him for these comments?

I find this thread a little bizarre to say the least. Steve Finnan has been one of our most consistent performers for quite a while. He hardly ever has a bad game. He knows when to attack and when to defend and does both well. How many assists has he provided already this season? He's not spectacular in the air... so what, plenty of other fullback aren't either. There is no way our poor form is related to Finnan. Other members of the team have been below par recently but not Finnan.

That made me laugh.

Even though he always said the right thing in interviews his attitude on the pitch was unprofessional. He also didn't use the ball intelligently enough, giving away possesion cheaply on a regular basis. His first touch was poor and his finishing was nowhere near as good as we were led to believe. In short no f*****g way would I like him back.

Have to say I agree with the first poster as well. I was concerned as soon as I saw the teamsheet. Not having Bellamy even on the bench was a mistake, no doubt, and I do think we would have threatened more with him in the team. Everton would have been wary of his pace on the counter-attack if he had been playing. Admittedly defensive errors as well as crucial refereeing decisions also cost us the points but the fact remains that we didn't score and for most of the match didn't look like scoring.

I think we'll beat Everton and get at least a draw at Chelsea.

I have a feeling Pennant will be used quite often. This may mean a change in formation in some games with us seeing 4-5-1 or 4-2-3-1 or 3-5-2 depending on the opposition. In some games we may play just one striker and in other games we might play without Sissoko to bring in a 2nd striker. Definitely lots of possibilities for sure.

Gary Neville.

Maybe they should be fined by the authorities but there is no way they should be banned from playing. It makes no sense at all. They haven't gained any edge over an opponent by taking a recreational drug.
