Its obvious that LFC are working on a limited budget so Parry has a lot of responsibility for making sure we don't get ourselves into trouble economically. He has a lot of financial juggling to do. We have still managed to spend more on players recently than any other english team except for Chelsea. Yes, we missed out on getting a right winger but I would rather see us wait than pay double what a player is worth. It shows that we are not desperate and we are no mugs. Other transfers have been conducted quickly and quitely with minimum fuss. Getting investment does seem to be taking a long time but it is absolutely vital that we get the right offer that sets up the future of the club without giving control to a third party who might put financial gain ahead of the clubs welfare. All things considered I think Parry is doing well. Its easy to speculate about these things especially when its clear that further progress needs to be made but I honestly don't fell he's done much wrong.
