But Keane isnt Torres. His strengths arent winning headers off long balls or chasing lost causes majority of the time. He cannot lead the line and i just dont get it why we're playing him in the role that Torres prefers. Torres is quicker, better in the air and has a lot more quality than Keane. Robbie on the other hand is a smart player, who plays well with all kinds of partners and he puts a very good shift in but is never a target man / lone striker. Maybe Rafa doesnt want to change our system just because we have a player out, but apart from that i cannot see any other reason for Keane to play lone striker. Even if he does, why are we playing long balls to him time and again expecting him to make something out of it?
