Am i the only one who thinks we could do with a central midfielder? We do have cover for Gerrard but none for Momo. We do have a great squad but could do with a central midfielder. We'll definately need a right back if Kromkamp leaves though.

We are in trouble. Carson is crap. So is Dudek. Reina flaps a lot. Josh Mimms and the young Danish Keeper are too young and probably turn out to be s****. We should sign Cudicini. Else we will be relegated. Give him a break, lad. He has shown lots of potential at Leeds and Sheffield Wed and also for the stiffs. Let him have a couple of long runs in the side, and then we can re-asses the situation. Ya know, sometimes the keeper is more confident when the defense in front of him is stable i.e. he knows what they do during certain situations. It only comes with experience. dont think a one-off preseason game with no meaning in it is right to judge a player, especially a goalie. I feel a bit sad for him because Reina is only 23. But, im sure he'll get a decent run in the side once in a while.

Its seems that Alves' contract has a clause in it wherein his release clause of 60 million euros will get activated if he hands in a tranfer request. He is desparate to come here. He has been told to wait. I'm ready to wait.
