He's a striker, a completely one footed striker but scores loads with that foot. He went to Inter for stupid money 3 years back. Why would one wanna buy him for even more and play him out of position on they wing? And that too is only a hypothetical situation, Inter will never sell. They love him there. Zlatan on the other hand, is having problems there. But im not sure whether i want him, temperamental at best.

He's the french league player of the year ffs! In the same league where Ribery and all the other French 'talents' are playing. He might not be that flair player were looking for but maybe Rafa doesnt need flair on the left flank. You dont play 2 flair wingers in a 442. Malouda's quite pacy, keeps the ball well, has a very good cross in him even if he gets a little bit of space and gets in the box often and will get a decent number of goals every season. Just because he doesnt have a youtube vid of him going past 5 players and lobbing the keeper for that perfect goal doesnt make a 'not liverpool quality' player. Simao or alves could be those flair players that Rafa is looking for. But im only speculating.

We didnt have enough players in the box usually. He HAD to go for the magic balls in our order to find Kuyt and beat all the Milanese defenders who were in the box. But he still had a couple of oppurtunities, one the cut back to gerrard which was too high and a couple of chances where we had many in the box. I thought his work rate was exceptional. His crossing was poor, yeah. His crossing has always been this inconsistent though, all throughout his career. He crosses consistently but the quality is inconsistent, if that makes any sense

He's looked good in the premiership, yes (his performances in away games still raise a doubt, though) but he will NOT be worth whatever Spurs might want for him...read Micheal Carrick + several million.

Berbatov was bought to WHL at 10.5 million pounds. With the success he has been at Spurs, his value has probably doubled. He's a good player but not so much of money. Secondly, he's been critisized of disappearing in away games completely. Something that Crouch was actually bought in to do was to make an effect in those away games. I would not recommend signing Berbatov, not at the money Jol might want.

Dont think either warrant the prices that are being touted around, by the media. But Villa warrants it more than what Torres does. Also, Torres drifts in and out of games. Villa tries to keep himself active most of the time. I think Villa is the better bet if we have a choice. Unfortunately, we'll not get either cos Villa isnt for sale and Benitez this Torres is overrated. Hopefully, thats not a threadkiller...
