Been reading some of the things that have happened to him and the life he's led. Poor, poor lad. Really hope that he has a successful time here and hope that he has a great career and life ahead of him.
I was one of the stewards 'minding' the Ambulance at Anfield after Smith was whisked away. It wasn't shaken. It wasn't touched at the ground. I had a first aid course two weeks later and the fella that took it is the one that runs the ambulances - he was fuming with the media. All that happened was a couple of d****eads lashed a bottle or two at it when it stopped at the lights next to the Royal Oak. The press reporting it was attacked in the ground were lying. Pure and simple. I was there. Nothing happened. The falla that runs the ambulances interviewed the drivers and they were confused as to what the f*** the press were reporting.
