Tommok

still can't believe how close we were to winning it this year and it's brilliant to get so close. We have been awesome for large parts of the season, and a big improvement in the league over recent years, but I do believe the table doesn't lie though and we are still not quite as clinical as the Mancs are over a whole season yet. If we don't suffer from injuries to key players next season and we pick up a couple of key signings in the summer I think we could be in pole position next year. I'm confident that if given the right money Rafa can make the signings that help us make the next step up.

in theory maybe but he has been rubbish of late.

I feel much better now - that's pretty clear. That would certainly seems to be the jist of it - his agent angling for a hefty wedge of a transfer fee. All that said, IF Real Madrid were to offer £25M ish you'd have to think Rafa would have a serious think about it.

really got a feeling Owen is going to score the goal that saves Newcastle - worst possible scenario for me that. Wish Villa would hurry up and score another one.

Edit: sorry wrong thread

No baby Maradona or baby Pele? Jeez our youth team coaches are hopeless.

shouldn't that be "clash of the $hite-uns" as its a relegation battle?

I don't see us signing Tevez or Silva and certainly not both. I really hope the stories of Alonso being touted are just lazy paper talk but it has been going on for so long now that you can't help but believe that Rafa is willing to let him go. It annoys me beyond belief that we are still in the situation whereby we need to sell to buy big players and there doesn't seem to be any end to that in sight. Oh dear that was all a bit despondent but it is Monday after all

That's going to cost a ludicrous amount of money to get them! A "dream Summer" it may be, a realistic one it is not

Liverpool are considering a bid to sign Marseille skipper Lorik Cana as back-up for Xabi Alonso, who could be sold in the summer. (Daily Mirror) Why would we consider selling Alonso after the season he's had - I really don't get it. Hope it's just lazy journalism again.

yeah I might head down there

Apparently another shot of it shows her wearing black undies - never mind!

Has anyone got another pic of Masch's face the one above is just appearing as a red cross for me. Thanks.

Almost certainly - Spurs are such a bunch of bottlers - I didn't think once that Spurs would hold onto that lead.
