  1. There have been a few rumours that Rooney might be out for a stretch.
  2. (lovely barry davies commentary btw, i miss him)
  3. for god's sake. Where's the 'for god's sake' option? other people are on this forum too you know, it's not your own personal wacky warehouse.
  4. It's great. I wonder what Rafa will say?
  5. Plessis was giving him "the evils". good lad.
  6. Why is a rock and a hard place such a difficult decision anyway? Are they asking if you'd rather have a rock than go to a hard place? and what is a hard place? portsmouth is quite a hard place i suppose. on balance, i'd rather have a rock. i'd hit steve bennett on the nose with it.

    Agger

I agree with this. However i feel they missed his vocal organisation the other night, especially the first half.
  8. yeah he did, he had 3 in the first half hour, the 1st was flapped away, the 2nd went in and the 3rd was the penalty.

  10. How the f*** is Keane still in our 1st XI above Aurelio? I'm voting for fab every match from now on. And only partly because he's amazing.
  11. The Mirror's coverage has been astonishing, largely down to Brian Reade.
  12. Suspected that may have been the case. Thanks for confirming. More empty words from Labour men then.

  14. You wouldn't have Essien? Do me an onion.
  15. Happy Birthday Boss.
  16. I have a bit of a thing for Chelsea. Especially after the 1st leg, it confirmed all the best things i thought about them anyway. The 2nd leg confirmed quite a lot of the worst things, but seriously, you can't deny they are really something. So they should be, they've spent a jillion quid, but when it works like that it's worth it. Essien, Ballack, Drogba, Lampard, Carvalho... They're boss! The polar opposite of their small, cheap, pathetic support.
  17. Blunkett mentioned corporate manslaughter/homicide on the Today Programme yesterday, with regards to Hillsborough. I thought it was interesting that he went that far, maybe that is the route most likely?
  18. Us and Chelsea are the best 2 for me. United when in form too, but they haven't been all season. Any of the 3 would stand a great chance of beating Barca in my opinion. Barca are routinely overrated.
  19. 1-0 last night was the worst possible result. The "hope united go through" gang should be thouroughly ashamed of themselves.

  22. Duncan Disorderly, if it makes it easier, we don't just hate Duckenfield. The hate is proportioned out to all those who made fatal errors and then told lies to shift the blame along. He was in charge, he made the worst mistakes, he told the big lie which spawned thousands of others. He is hated, deservedly so, but he isn't alone.
  23. I still think this would have been better. Drogba was the difference and certainly forced the centre halves into having a collective poor game, but Agger would have been a better pick for simple footballing reasons, and Hyypia is dominant (and scores in quarter finals). I'd play Agger from now on. Skrtel should have got the hook last night.
