  1. Most of the decent local lads go to Everton as far as i can tell. There's a perception locally that they have the better set up. Might be a throwback to a few years ago when we were a bit of a mess, but these stories have a habit of sticking, and parents with talented kids have to go for the best looking option, regardless of allegiance. Rodwell for example is a red, was with us for a time but then went the other way. It needed looking at and i think the club has dealt with it now, but it'll be a good while before we see any young scouse lads come through i'd say.
  2. Imagine all that, then Rooney dies of pig flu. Halcyon days boyo.
  3. Davies is the sharp elbows at the top of the jigsaw.
  4. I'd keep an open mind if we signed him, but i'm not jumping up and down at the prospect. Would prefer Carew, but maybe that's because he's foreign. Or maybe it's because he chinned Riise.
  5. Could be a good right back if he took his head out of his a***. Benitez could be the making of Richards.
  6. Did you just call me lazy??? MODS!

  8. People don't need as much moderating or policing as they get on here. Overmoderation is one of the major drawbacks of this forum.

  10. blowjob lips them. phwoar.
  11. We punched above our weight and United had a mare. This team is light years ahead of any of Houllier's. I agree that progress isn't linear, but what we needed to kick on then was never as clear as it is now.
  12. Seen him for Real? He's a much better footballer than i gave him credit for, and his attitude is top notch.
  13. That would be seriously terrifying for the rest of the world. Lets do it.
  14. Carew might be off. I'd have him.
  15. the people of liverpool?
  16. NOT THE ATHENS TALK. WE ARE NOT READY YET.
  17. It really would. Halfway through the season this became shockingly clear. Whichever game it was when Keane didn't get brough t on and it ended 0-0, think it was West Ham. It was the right decision (not to bring keane on), but if we still had Crouchie he'd have been on and causing his peculiar brand of mayhem.
  18. Boro away will happen. It always has. City at home was a tw at, we seemed to have an eye on OT in both these games though. If you remember the talk on here, it was all "just win the games leading up to that one". I think the players were thinking the same and it cost us a little bit of ground.
  19. I'm not having this 'in our hands in january' guff either, predictably enough. Apart from the very good points already mentioned, i'm not sure we'd have caught United so cocky and full of their typical hubris in march if we'd have been ahead of them. 3 points closer might have been nice, but maybe they'd have been that little bit more awake then, and then who knows?
  20. I hope this is true, and that it is the start of a better stance from the club.

  23. Oh yeah i remember the Valencia one now, it was a red, he should have been booked twice in the encroachment incident alone.
