  6. Everton and Wigan, the equalisers were both down to pure panic, as were some of Chelsea and Arsenal's goals. That's a worry. Howlers will happen, but our mentality shouldn't change. We have definitely felt the pressure at times.
  7. who's the ref?
  8. They spend a lot of money pretty well every transfer window, they've always maintained a nice balance of youth and experience and never used rebuilding as an excuse (never needed to), i don't see why they'll suddenly stop doing these things and swing into a crisis. At least until bacon face does one.
  9. I thought fin de siecle posts were a banning offence.
  10. Not hopeful at all. Apparently all the coaches going are half full of ticketless folks.
  11. I'll be driving if i find a ticket...
  12. He is a bleu. What a week for them. Cup Final appearance assured, Liverpool draw a game we really needed to win, partisan Liverpool website votes overwhelmingly that we want them to win the cup....
  13. another clean sheet.

Because Keane was playing instead of him.
  15. Wigan, City, Everton, Hull. The score draws. I think you have to accept 0-0's will happen when teams bark the pus. Stoke was a disgrace of a decision. Fulham was Robbie Keane's nadir, missed a bag o chances and laughed his head off. Boro looks like a blip against a bogey team after a tough euro away, again, these will happen, especially with our thin squad. It's the score draws that wind me up, we shouldn't be conceding soft goals to these poor teams.
  16. absolutely.
  17. It hasn't gone. but if and when we don't win it i'll be back to agree with this.
  18. Who cares what a manc would make of it? We need better strength in depth. Gerrard and Torres won't play every game, therefore we need a better plan B. no? We don't need more big game game breaky players, that's a bit black and white. We just need more players who can be relied upon to come in and deliver. At the moment we can't rely on Babel, El Zhar, Ngog, and we don't really have any other attacking options. Benayoun is our only quality backup. None of this changes if we win it. If we win it i expect this to be Benitez's post match interview.

yep. a stupid man on the radio.
  20. hahaha! i like this little morsel but i'm going to swim past... Agree with the initial post, it could hardly have gone worse, he was so much worse than we expected it's almost funny. except that it really isn't, because if we'd got someone good instead we'd probably be top now. fine margins and so on, this season has been preposterous and amazing from the start so who knows really... if we'd been top when we went to OT they might have beaten us and romped home. ho hum.
  21. attack and defence are not mutually exclusive. unless you were joking, in which case ha.
  22. If we win it this year we'll canter it next year, cakewalk style.
  23. I disagree. We'll regret it if we don't address it this summer.
  24. FYI, the rest of that was a rant.
  25. Why haven't Skrtel and Agger ever played as a 2 then? My Guess is vocal organisation. Skrtel would be sound if he talked and was good at heading the ball into the net from corners. As it is, he's the one with room for improvement. Carragher is out of form and a bit knackered. Possibly something more, but too early to say.
