1) It's based on the past 5 years, not the past 2 years en 2) Furthest Chelsea have gotten is semi-final and PSV got there as well the year we won the Cup. PSV have a decent CL history under Hiddink 3) Dont worry, as a blue i dont expect you to know too much about the goings on in Europe's top cup competition
"Despite winning back-to-back Premiership titles, and even with the top Italian sides missing, Chelsea will be among the second seeds. The reason is that the other three English teams have accumulated Uefa co-efficient points by having a longer history in Europe's elite club competition." Yes.....
I think we'll play quite a bit of 4-5-1 (or 4-3-3 however you wish to call it) with three in the middle and the two wide men supporting the striker. Which is probably why a right midfielder is more important than a forward.
Great referee. Got all the important decisions right, including the penalty, the appeals he didnt give and the red card. Also let the game flow and didnt stop play for rough tackles and players looking for fouls. Good job!
Man Utd is expecting revenues of £3m per match this year following the expansion of Old Trafford's capacity to 76,000 That's probably £1.5m-£2m more than we make a match.
"The agency bizarrely claimed that Liverpool were willing to offer £12 million plus fringe players Jerzy Dudek, Bolo Zenden and Antonio Barragan - with the cash component split into two instalments." It's simply not true. That is a great answer as it's totally meaningless. Maybe we have made a bid for Joaquin, but for £12.5m plus 'fringe' players. Or the cash is split into three installments instead of two. Or whatever. It's quite easy to mislead the press with such a firm denial.
