It was "only" £70m at the start of this thread and that's including £15m from Ashley Cole who hasnt been signed yet. Where does £83m come from?

Good to see we're looking to sign big names. Alves, Duff & Kuyt shows a lack of ambition.

I want us to sign at leas one, but preferably two right sided players, so Stevie doesn't have to cover there and can play where he does the most damage - in the middle.

I think our priorities should be as follows RM (first team) RM (backup) CD (backup - if Sami or Jamie get an injury it's Agger or Paletta and i'm not sure they're ready) CF (backup) I'm not worried about our strikers, we have Bellamy, Crouch & Fowler. We also have Pongolle. We also have Kewell & Garcia who can play off one of the first three.

Pennant & Alves and i'll be absolutely delighted with our summer.

First i've heard of this 13.7m fee is today, if Feyenoord have increased their asking price obviously there's less chance of us signing him.

That could be the case though, i seem to recall 8-10m being the price quoted for Kuyt couple of months back, now it's almost 14m. There would be plenty of clubs willing to buy at the former price but few willing to buy at the latter. So it's Feyenoords change in valuation/asking price that changes the agents stance.
