Sterling is a bit 'hit and miss' in that when he hits it, it misses.

If we're signing decent players then I don't need to hear the manager talking about it, after what he said about Borini and Aspas I think I'm enjoying not hearing him now. Ultimately it's what they do on the pitch that matters.

He did say that Didi Hamann came from Knotty Ash.

Had a similar email last year, a couple of weeks later though.

A plan A would be a good start

No, no, that was the REASON he took him off. Forget the usual s***e he spouts. With three points our only option here, instead of thinking about trying to win the game he's thinking about getting Gerrard some acclaim from the chavs. Taking off our leading scorer and best penalty taker in a game we need to win, not because he's tired, not because of any tactical reason. Just to suck up to his mate in the sh*t coat.

Was angry when he was speaking about the ghost goal when he was our manager, this is unbelievable.

"I was more happy with the ovation from the Liverpool fans," he told Sky Sports. "I think Chelsea fans have shown respect for me for a couple of seconds but they've slaughtered me all game so I'm not going to get drawn into wishing the Chelsea fans well. "It was nice of them to turn up for once today. When you get a standing ovation at a stadium it's always nice but what's important to me is the support from the Liverpool fans and they've been with me since day one."

World Cup Final, Germany vs Argentina
DaveLFC replied to Rory Fitzgerald 's topic in General Football Discussion
I'm going for an easy win for North Korea against Portugal. -
Without even reading what comes after that you just know it's going to be a load of misinformed tripe. I await the same old stories of how little Johnny was sent home from school of for biting and it somehow gets blamed on Suarez.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/soccer/2014/06/27/fifpro-questions-fifas-punishment-of-luis-suarez/11454249/ RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) — The international players' union has questioned the severity and focus of FIFA's punishment of Luis Suarez for biting an opponent at the World Cup, saying it "infringes his right to work" and doesn't offer him the treatment he needs. FIFPro said Friday that "rehabilitation and serious treatment ... must be a part of any sanction" for the Uruguay and Liverpool forward. "Luis Suarez deserves all the support he needs including legal support in the appeal case in order to achieve a reduction of the sanctions," FIFPro said in a statement. The player also must have "support he needs to deal with any off-field issues he may be experiencing at this time," the union said. Suarez bit the left shoulder of defender Giorgio Chiellini on Tuesday in Natal during Uruguay's 1-0 win over Italy, an incident that went unpunished by the referee but was witnessed by fans around the world on TV. It was the third time he has bitten an opponent, after incidents in the Dutch and English leagues. Suarez has returned to Montevideo after FIFA banished him on Thursday with a nine-match suspension from Uruguay's competitive matches, a four-month ban from all football and a fine of 100,000 Swiss francs ($112,000). The Uruguay football federation is preparing an appeal to FIFA, which Liverpool is not involved in. FIFPro said the FIFA appeals committee must "focus especially on the accumulation of sanctions." "The fact that Suarez is prohibited from working for a long period must be addressed as it directly infringes his right to work," the Netherlands-based union said. "Also the fact that Liverpool FC is affected needs to be an important issue." FIFPro says it reviewed the full judgment of FIFA's disciplinary panel, and suggested that an appeal can "re-establish the facts in a calm and considered setting." If FIFA dismisses Suarez's appeal, a further legal challenge is allowed at the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, Switzerland. It could freeze the sanctions upon request, allowing Suarez to resume training and playing for Liverpool during the appeal process. No I'd never heard of them either The Fédération Internationale des Associations de Footballeurs Professionnels (English - International Federation of Professional Footballers), generally referred to as FIFPro, is the worldwide representative organisation for 65,000 professional football players. FIFPro, with its global headquarters in Hoofddorp, Netherlands, is made up of 55 national players' associations. In addition, there are three candidate members and seven observers.

Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini - the player bitten by Luis Suarez - says he believes the punishment given to the Uruguay striker is "excessive". Suarez has been given a nine-match international ban, as well as four-suspension from all football, meaning he can no longer be in contact with the Uruguay squad. "I have always considered unequivocal the disciplinary interventions by the competent bodies, but at the same time I believe that the proposed formula is excessive," said Chiellini. "I sincerely hope that he will be allowed, at least, to stay close to his team-mates during the games because such a ban is really alienating for a player." "Now inside me there's no feelings of joy, revenge or anger against Suarez for an incident that happened on the pitch and that's done," he said. "There only remain the anger and the disappointment about the match. At the moment my only thought is for Luis and his family, because they will face a very difficult period." http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/jun/27/giorgio-chiellini-luis-suarez-biting-excessive

I hear they're banning him from playing on FIFA for the xbox and PS3/4 too

Unlike Hoddle who it appears was quite evil in his previous life.

He's the villain of the moment, completely to blame for England not being in the world cup (no really, it's not the owl faced c*nts fault, no really) and now the british media have something to get their teeth into. He was widely disliked before the world cup (in England) and because a load of chav f***s cannot now get pissed and be rowdy watching England play, he's probably hated too. So the fury that's being thrown around now is the fury that Woy should be getting, the anger at being humiliated in the World Cup deflected on to Suarez. He's not innocent of course, he's a f***ing idiot. Let's not let the anger cloud the issue here, he bit a player (for the third time in his career) in an international game. He should get a ban from international football, I'm not sure it's fair to judge him on what he did in domestic football, he should receive a ban that is appropriate and fair. Zidane got a three match ban for head butting, so somewhere near that. Add to that he won't be able to help his country progress further in the World Cup and that's quite a punishment for a player. Unfortunately it's also a punishment for fans as he's brilliant and a joy to watch. Will he learn, I doubt it. He needs to stay and continue to get help as he is at Liverpool. He's a flawed genius but he's our flawed genius. I only hope the owners and sponsors don't decide to pull the plug, when you're probably one of the worlds best footballers it tends to buy you a little leeway, christ knows he's very little of that left but if he stays we will win the premiership with him in our team and not biting people. He has to go home and face his daughter now, forget the fans and the media. Having to face your kids when you've done something like that will be the hardest thing he's had to do. I only hope that the experience sinks in to that thick skull and he thinks before biting, for f***s sake if you were going to bite anyone why wasn't it Woy.

Not that I care abut the sponsors, but the owners will. Three times, along with the accusations as well. It's a tough call, if he wasn't such an incredible player he would be long gone.

Roy F***ing Hodgson - 'Football' Mamanger
DaveLFC replied to Flasher's topic in General Football Discussion
It's gone from getting the best squad available to challenge in the World Cup to some strange rebuilding job that he was never tasked to do. All on a massive wage, laughing all the way to the bank. I wouldn't mind if England was a proper club, with all the restrictions of FFP and other finances, wages etc. He has the pick of the brightest and the best England players. Just what the f*** is the 6 years for if not lining his pockets. -

If Allardyce can get his team to beat city and we win, then I'm having an 'I love fat sam' t-shirt made with his big face on it and I'm wearing it to every single game next season.
