  1. Of course they'll sell when the time is right, they are investors. It's not anyones job here to come up with potential buyers, they will look for them when they feel the time is right. We could be owned by worse, we could be owned by better, had it not been for the walkout we could have been looking at paying more for our tickets, they only really care about the money so stop defending them. f*** off FSG.

  3. The rule states that: - The ball must be stationary and is kicked from any point within the goal area by a player of the defending team - The ball is in play when it leaves the penalty area - Opponents must be outside the penalty area until the ball is in play Well that's how it works for goal kicks in FIFA, so it must be right, right? Yet as the image below clearly shows, Okazaki found himself in the box before the ball had left it.
  4. More like hoping we get that decent LB or world class midfielder in and hoping there's a last minute surprise. Looking and seeing we have reduced the squad, the wage bill and as yet spent nothing with the money we recouped. Hoping that with all that and the extra TV money in the back pocket we might be able to get a that last minute deal over the line. Not some last minute panic buy, but getting the results of hard work, weeks of gentle persuasion and finally the realisation that it''s the last day and nobody else is coming in to make it an auction and then getting them signed. Alas we did none of that, instead I have to read some patronising s****.

  6. And they still wanted that extra £2m from the fans pockets, not greedy my a***!

  8. Well possibly not but he has to go, will be interesting.
  9. FSG won't want to be seen to back down, blaming it all on Ayre and getting him to resign helps them save face. Not forgetting it probably is down to him, plus his stupid condescending comments before the weekend probably made the situation worse.
  10. Because that's how greedy people make money, they push and push hoping people just take it. They increase the prices for one stand while freezing others and hope the 'I'm alright Jack" attitude works, which generally it does. Only this time it hasn't, it's been a long time coming but most people are not just fed up with the prices now but have been fed up for years. I don't know what the club will do either, a climbdown just says 'Oh sorry we tried to fleece you, we didn't think you'd notice' and if they think that bloated faced liar Ayre can put a nice spin on it, then they should remember his last attempt. He did more to gain support for that walk out than anyone else, the condescending little prick.
  11. Useless little fecker, he's swayed it for me, I am out at 77.
  12. I've been saying this for a while, better still just lump it up the pitch to give the opposition a chance to break. Cut out the middle man.
  13. I do not think any action that delays the fans getting in to the ground should be considered. There's far too much can be made of that by the club and the media.
  14. Yes, my mistake.
  15. I think what happens is that someone will leave early because of a work or family commitment and suddenly realise that there was no having to wade through crowds, no traffic problem. That they got home surprisingly quickly. The next time they go they are sitting in traffic after the game thinking, sod this I'm going early. I've always thought that the club could do more. They have hundreds of stewards that while really important do nothing more than sit down for the whole match. After the game these stewards could be used to control the crowds leaving. I know there are plenty of tight spaces and it isn't ideal but better crowds control would help when leaving. The club also pay the police a lot of money to sit on their fat arses in their vans. Get those lazy buggers out and controlling traffic, or get more in to do that. Shut the food stalls after kick off until the half time whistle goes, might not stop them leaving but it certainly would stop them coming back and making everyone stand twice just before half time. I hate the way people that can't be bothered to stay and watch the whole game suddenly stop if there's an interesting build up of play. Usually right in front of me, while I'm stood up to let them pass. The club should look in to a park and ride system. Make it free to those with a ticket and locate it in an area that has decent transport links. They won't do it of course because doing nothing costs nothing and they couldn't care less about anything as long as they adhere to the safety standards and get their £50 ticket money.
