if the cluase is true, surely it makes sense to sell for a low fee, and have loads of addtional extra's based on appearances etc. so a 1 million fee, with 1million after 20 appearances etc.

Honestly speaking though, until we win the title we are more a cup team. we need one this decade and I am sure it will happen. Its also true about the top teams tweaking their squads. We on the other hand have added 2 CB, a LB, a striker still looking for a RW and another striker and had numerous departures. the door just does not revolve that much at the majors (other than REal Madrid). I tihnk we are a big club, but the reality of it is, until we win the title or at least make a couple of seasons where we make a chase of it, we won't be seen as one.

Man U will be ok now with Juve and Milan missing out for a season. also, arsenal have always qualified, had a good group performance. They haven't had the peaks that others have had, but they been consistant to qualify from the groups. Man U and Real madrid ironically have the most to gain from the italian problems.

If they get Carrick and Vieira, I would be worried. they have a decent group around them. we can take the piss all we like, but they have got a chance too. I would expect them to be in Europe into the new year though, so will be interesting how their squad copes.

Personally, I think the 3 subs is perfect and maybe open up a fourth if the game goes to extra time. Also, I think something needs to be done for subs happening in the last 2 minutes of a game. Its always the player furthest away from the bench, and he walks off taking out 2 minutes from the game.

I can't see the player agreeing to that. One of the reasons he didn't sign for us (allegedly!) was the distance from london and southampton. why would he then want to go to WBA?

carlos to chelsea, delighted with that. Casillas to united for big money is good for Real. they can then buy Buffon, a better keeper, for 10-15mil. joaquin to Real. If they get Cannaravo, Zambrotta to supplement ramos and cichinho, with robben, Cesc still to come, Real madrid may actually resemble a team next season. Torres to the wancs, BAD NEWS. This is a real striker. Him and Rooney up front....wow.
